GeckoYou couldn't be more wrong. I'm buying gold because of cyclical and macro trendsJust because an acorn lands on your head it doesn't mean that the sky is falling. ;-PFIAT will never fail, purely because cash is a store of value and not wealth and that's down to the coincidence of wants. Some civilisations even used to use cowrie shells instead of bits of metal.. Money is worth the value we put into it, not what we get out of it.Which is why emerging markets and pm's boom, when the dollar index falls because they get cheaper to buy and provides a store of wealth.Which conversely is why, gold sold off in March and the dollar index went up. Cash is king in a crisis because it's a store of value. $1 dollar will always be $1

"It'll all be over come Jan and they'll all go back to shouting about how flat the earth is and prepping for the apocalypse in the woods at the backs of their houses.
In the meantime gold miners are cheap cheap"

What's the point of buying gold miners exactly?

A dollar collapse?

Inflation/Hyperinflation from mass money printing/Qe?

Isn't that prepping for monetary system collapse??? Or a dollar collapse?
Or run away inflation???

Buying gold miners would make you a prepper therefore no???

:)

"You.re in utter denial fella. Im certainly no lefty despite your protestations, far from it, given the jobs, positions in major companies I.ve held. Peeps like yourself, present as respectable middle England - but you.re far from it. I could go on but I wont demean myself. You re a lightweight and culturally bitter from whatever your sad experiences were when you lived in the US. I suspect its a race thing but you.re savvy enough to skirt around your issues. Filtered"

Never lived in USA. I have travelled throughout much of it though.
Next false assumption is it's a race thing.

I don't see race. Matters not to me. Like most Conservatives what matters to me is "Values"

My issues?
I hate cheating, deceit, and fraud.

Don't you?

It appears that I now have two imitations
of my username following me around.
Should I be flattered?

I can't read foolish rose. He/she was just reposting my posts, presumably to irritate, but I am filtering now, so who knows.

Here is an actual court filing: "Wisconsin election fraud lawsuit by Sidney Powell"

You are ALL behind the times, tribe. Fox news is losing viewers massively, because they have folded on the election steal (apart from Tucker maybe). I don't actually watch Fox, or any broadcast TV. I prefer to read news, from many sources online. Clearly we disagree about which party is corrupt.

Kenny- Brits don't get that Trump is not in control of the virus measures in the USA. It is the remit of the state governments, many of which have Democrat governors and legislatures. The federal government, including the president, is not empowered to impose lockdowns, mask mandates, or whatever else you think he is not doing. These are done on a state by state basis and vary considerably.

Actual court cases about voter fraud are being heard at the moment, so not a mere conspiracy theory. I am waiting to hear the outcome(s). As for the news, here is an illustration of how petty and deceptive the usual sources are: "McEnany’s MLB husband tells his side of White House briefing room incident" [...] Note that ADVFN has actually censored the link to the article above, in the New York Post, a major US Newspaper. Here it is in another form: nypost dot com/2020/12/03/mcenanys-hubby-tells-his-side-of-wh-briefing-room-incident/

Trump's court cases were not expected to prevail in local courts where the fraud was being run by the local officials. They are merely a necessary preliminary to move on through appeals eventually to the US supreme court. Calling people names never looks good. If you have a compelling argument, it does not add to it. If you don't, it does not substitute for it.
