it didn't mention ex-div on the contract note this morning fwiw usually does so we'll see I thought the cut off was 12pm on the day for the register I'm sure I read that somewhere

Usually always is in downtrends, as people ramp to provide liquidity or out of sheer desperation.Waiting for the post bottom base to form is much safer imo

That is bad shieldbug if true ( why shouldn’t it be ??) . I bought yesterday knowing ex div today and using the dividend to discount my buy . If people have missed out on that opportunity and CEY have got it wrong that is not good . Ex div on HL .
Hope so DT1010.. bet you wish you had followed your instinct and waited for 80p ! Hopefully good news will help you / us out. If not you will get it back later in the year IMHO

Glad you got brains Woodhawk. It is confusing because the Record date (23rd) is several days after the LSE Ex Dividend date (18th) and the TSX Ex Dividend date (22nd) is not on the same day as the LSE one.

Final Results announcement clearly states "The Final Dividend will be paid on 13 May 2019 to shareholders on the register on the Record Date of 23 April 2019."

Hargreaves Landsdown says ex-div on 18th April.

Steveaa .. totally not writing off AAZ . On my watchlist . Up and coming possibly undervalued but still not in same league as CEY in terms of stability . This is all I was saying.. they have debt to service and need improved profit figures . They do that and certainly could be one to get into . Good luck with it . If you fancy a gamble JLP worth a look . Should be coming into positives this year .

Looks like Blackrock have added a few.

Because of the long outstanding court case, no board of directors would propose a takeover in a country about to appoint a dictator, subject to referendum. People who have not been here long may not be aware of the past history of the court case and that the Courts can do what they want as long as the US nods approval.

Anyway, assuming CEY continue to pay Master Sisi they will be allowed to exist and I'm assuming we will get production up in due course.
