HGM ,Rio Tinto and Centamin are all dropping, probably due to the gold price dropping back to the 1199 mark at the moment here.
All these three companies are good ones.
I can't imagine gold dropping below 11.60 if that, but we will see.
It will be interesting to see how low Centamin goes, though.

Never trust a man who says "trust me "

Or who has a beard!

Double red flag if he has a beard and says trust me.

The chart between 2013 and present looks pretty horrible and an indication of what could happen. I say could. Not on fundamentals but on the usual factors excluding of course logic.

I don’t buy stocks based upon charts - although I used to try and usually very badly. I protect my sanity and heart these days by only investing modest sums in gold miners but I’m more than content to continue to take advantage of the irrational price action around what has been one of my favourite and most rewarding companies.

Experience tells me that on a long term view, my purchases will likely be rewarded once again, when common sense and rational thinking return. Which it will do. Eventually.

101.65p was the key today. It could not break it. Now that it's done with 439,144 shares you will see a progressive rise from tomorrow.
Trust me I am a doctor, lol.

As long as you don't have all your money invested here, I can't see the problem.

Just collect the divi and wait.

Better grades on the way and at some point gold will recover. This will double sooner or later + huge divis in the mean time.

Gold is holding it's ground and rising slightly.
Watch CEY "rally" towards the end...

Hi astjgroom

Yes, indeed, a good point actually. - They would have had to inform the market.

Blimey this at about 100p. A double or triple is easy once gold recovers and with new prospects here and a nice divi. Just hope it is not too near middle east theatre of war that must come.

Hi Rebess. It's a pity we aren't getting info, but if shipments had stopped, it would be for a reason, and the company would have needed to inform the market of that reason. IMHO

Good morning alamaison5

You say we are now increasing production. - Do you have any info regarding this? - Only, there's been no shipment news for weeks, so, to some extent, we're in the dark.

One could argue that the last two days sellers are the one who have cashed up on the dividend. But, looking at the last UT trade, 1,5m shares bought at 102p+ make me think that some institution is still buying. Therefore I doubt that CEY will fall further. One last thing. CEY is in the process of developing very promising assets. Check my post above. Gold price has now stabilised and we are increasing production.

Ho hum, the share price fell from a pound in October 2012, bottoming in December, just above 20p. This was due to the court case, plus as someone mentioned, shipment issues. I know this as I bought a large wedge of shares in my ISA 10 minutes before the RNS release that sent them crashing. The worst timed buy I ever made. I held firm and they eventually recovered.

The fall in June 2013 was following a "recovery" with the share price sitting in the high 30s. For those of us in from a pound that was a minor blip. It had been back into the 60s between the two lows.
