@Kayman208 11 hours ago We will fall at least 9 points behind by the end of the season if Rodger’s dsnt swallow his pride and go back to Anges system. The board should sack him and let Kennedy take it
@jimmcleod557 11 hours ago Rogers took the best striker in Scotland and turned him into a second rate midfielder the squad are ponderous going forward we dread the opposition getting a corner how many goals have we lost by a player at the back post games are won in midfield our midfield pass it back to the defence this is pathetic it not the players it’s the managers system hail hail |
celtic and brendan to part company if no trophies end of season? |
rangers go clear, rangers tails are up celtic navel gazing
celtic 71% possession, 15 shots, only 5 on target
see the team formation here
4-4-1-1 wtf is that? |
1-1 killie, celtic could well be in trouble now |
celtic 25 19 4 2 57 17 40 61 rangers25 20 1 4 53 13 40 61
celtic ahead on goals scored and head-to-heads maybe some extra options with s.korea lads returning
need a goal surge and very soon |
yep and the problem is nothing to do with 'quality' or 'recruitment'. Celtic have simply been below par and Rangers... what's the best word??? UNDER par.
Rangers' tails will be up and Celtic doubting their own manager.

rangers to try and go top tomorrow night with a win of more than 2 goals. celtic have been hugely wasteful in recent games. |
rangers-ayr
'It looked ominous for former Celtic captain Scott Brown's Ayr, but they gradually began to cause problems with Anton Dowds threatening on a number of occasions as the visitors countered well. Some Premiership teams might take note of the second-tier side's approach.'
interesting. |
Results must be next week, expected them today. Going to be difficult justifying cash position and transfer policy I'd imagine. |
Good 3 points but performance was abysmal.
Friends and fans boards in meltdown and we are one defeat away from the directors needing police escorts to games and I'm not joking.
Players like Abada who don't want to be here because he supports his genocide country should be nowhere near the team and running down the tunnel rather than celebrating with supporters should ensure he rots at training.
Huge problems at the club, results possibly after hours Friday should show a healthy bank balance but something stinks in the dressing room, I've sold about 40k shares over the last few weeks as we are one game away from Lawwell needing police protection as it's criminal the position we are in.
Disgusted with the directors and either them or Rodgers must carry the can for this sh!tshow |
jordan bt s.kor so more lads heading back to glasgow soon |
well done rangers. that start with beale and 2 losses to celtic. still level. |
i see hatate is injured, out for 6-8 weeks? |
iran bt japan today, so after brief rest some celtic players should be back in squad south korea bt oz yest and go on to meet jordan on tues
-- cheers asagi, just stats from bbc page |
neat analysis, wrtmf.
I will add that a goal was scored by a January signing, with an assist from a January signing shows that good business was done in the window. The issue is performances, not pleurs.

![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) 'Australia striker Marco Tilio has returned to Melbourne City on loan having made only two substitute appearances totalling 18 minutes for Celtic in his six months with the Scottish champions. The 22-year-old is currently in Qatar with his national squad and has made one brief substitute appearance in a 1-1 draw with Uzbekistan in the Asian Cup. Tilio is "thrilled" that, following the tournament, he will return to a side sitting sixth in the A-League and hopes to gain extra game time to ensure a place in the Socceroos squad for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. "The memories and experiences from my time here are unforgettable and I can’t wait to contribute to the team’s success once again," he told Melbourne's club website. In his previous three seasons there, Tilio scored 20 goals and provided 19 assists in 86 appearances as he helped City win one Championship and a record-breaking three consecutive Premierships. That led to an Australian record transfer to Celtic in June, but he has been unable to break into the first-team squad in Glasgow. Head coach Aurelio Vidmar is "delighted to welcome a player of Marco’s calibre back" to the club. "His technical ability, vision and ability to run at defenders will make him an asset to our team," he added.'

possibly, turnball to cardiff for £2m |
Sloppy is not the word, disgraceful performance and Brendan needs to lift things for 3 tricky away games |
'Alistair Johnston's first-minute goal wins it for Celtic, but Brendan Rodgers will be far from pleased with that performance. They dominated possession, but there was precious little cutting edge from the Premiership leaders. Luis Palma twice missed from the spot, yes, but County will feel they could, and maybe should, have pinched a point from this game.'
very sloppy |
...and atletico came a calling... |
Cup win yesterday included a goal from two 'project' pleurs, Bernardo and Holm. A goal from a pleur that was a downgrade on the pleur he replaced (Palma/Jota) and an assist from a pleur that's not good enough to play for Celtic, Mikey Johnston.
My point being that when the manager gets the most out of the pleurs that the business model and recruit team have brought to the club, they clearly comprise many match-winners.
The recruitment team are excellent and the board are pursuing the right model for the plc AND the team.
