poor results and performance. Another missed penalty!

another draw need another favour from (6-0 thrashed) Aberdeen tomorrow |
20,000 shares went through in one trade yesterday at 09:39. Anyone else surprised to see such liquidity met, apparently at the mid price?
The merit of a 'proper' broker?

upped the goal diff today, 6-0
yang, oh, holm, turnball benefitting from the side-lining of hatate, maeda, kyogo |
:) No it seems Rodgers, and Postecoglou, don't care that they are playing sides that cost £500M to assemble they still think they can go toe to toe and beat them. Delusional. No chance especially since we are full of small guys that do not have the physicality required. We're a complete and utter embarrassment in Europe and have been for decades now. |
brilliant forecast by Kev0856153. Classic Rodgers. Doesn't know how to make a team hard to beat: an essential skill in a close competition.
Why don't Celtic just go out and play for a draw???? Has any Celtic manager ever tried that in Europe? Not in my lifetime!
Thought that the sending off was harsh: I've never seen a sending off for kicking the underside of someone's boot.

come on asagi, you might consider congratulating kev on his forecast this time |
60k applications to join the green brigade tonight! That was brutal, red card didn't help so just one more of these games we unfortunately are used to, lose early goal, get red card, lose goal just before half time and team die on the feet and lose a load of goals at the end.
Thought Lagerbielke did okay in his six game, we only conceded 1 goal when he played and we were down to 10 men at the time with Taylor off injured against Killie.
On to Aberdeen on Sunday, at least they've got a game in Greece on Thursday so no excuses on tiredness. |
pack the defence and conserve energy for nxt league game
the league the league the league |
Magnificent from Celtic. To hold out for 6 minutes is a superb effort.
Maeda has been sent off now but so what. That's 24 minutes gone and we're still only 1-nil down. |
maybe scales forward play could be developed as a rep for taylor in medium term nawrocki takes scales place in cendef once fit
[...if taylor repl can't be purchased jan/summer]
is it already over for gustaf lagerb? |
Probably lose 3-1, not keen on our midfield without Hatate in these type of games and no confidence in Taylor defending the left hand side. |
Champions league night again. Any forecasts for the result? Hope I'm wrong obviously but I'll go for Athletico Madrid 6 Celtic 1
Celtic to score first as usual, and then to bravely hang on for 6 minutes, and to be only 3-1 down by halftime. Athletico to score 3 in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half to make it 6-1 and a training session thereafter. |
7-9 players out the door is the theme that's developing
i would like to see celtic get to the new year 7 or more points ahead, for a degree of comfort, its all about the league. the other day they came within 10mins of dropping 2 points and a gap of 3, too little, too risky.
article suggesting 7 destinations for 7 players |
who is getting cleared out in January?
Haksabanovic
who else. I will brook no criticism of Jamesy Forrest: he has delivered great value for shareholders.
Another week passes without Rangers closing the gap, increasing probability that Celtic will be champions and straight into the Champions League group stage next season.

playing against 10, the 2nd picks get an oppo to show they are needed beyond jan's planned clearout. today's first 11:
Hart Ralston Carter-Vickers Scales Taylor Gonçalves Bernardo McGregor Turnbull Maeda Oh Yang
edit - 82% possession at HT |
And best of the bunch was Holm, expecting big things from this player. Hopefully can fill Hatate's boots whilst he recovers. |
seeming very fragile at the back. Typical Brendan Rodgers stuff. But good reports on Oh and Yang.

You'd get my vote Asagi 🙂 |
Difficult for UEFA to make a case against flying the flag of a nation when they endorsed flying the Ukraine flag
I totally accept this point.
Celtic should just ban any kind of organised demonstration by their own staff. No minutes silence for anything other than a tragedy among players in the same competition as the first team and nothing for Remembrance Sunday either! For example, the late Phil O'Donnell's tragic death would be recognised at the stadium but nothing else, whatever the sob story (unless it is a directive from the competition organiser).
They should keep that seat on the board warm for me.

Difficult for UEFA to make a case against flying the flag of a nation when they endorsed flying the Ukraine flag so shouldn't be much of an issue as it wasn't an Israeli team we were playing. My only gripe is everyone who held a flag should be at every march in support of the Palestinian people and they clearly aren't. |
