Harbour energy went ex-dividend today for 9.6p and at one point was down 22p so backed the truck up ! |
well, 10,000 have just gone through at 122p. Now's your chance MickinVest...

It's how you play small caps, you wait for the slack getting taken up then you try and get the last at a decent price. I've got enough but was just a trading position ahead of results with view of getting an extra 5k at under £1.30 and selling above £1.40 before end of month so wouldn't pay £1.32+. |
"Aye would have been happy to pay £1.2975 but no higher."
well if you wanted 20k shares it appears that you could have done so this morning, or on Monday, or yesterday!

Aye would have been happy to pay £1.2975 but no higher. |
the 20k buy was at 129.75p.
(that's not a counterpoint, just saying)
Asagi (long CCP) |
Looks like a decent buy of 20k today thought of adding 5k but spread a disgrace at £1.2225-1.325 so not prepared to be fleeced by MM's |
Celtic now Odsonne to win the league, 4/7 according to oddschecker.
Still not seeing anything in the share price! I wonder if Rodgersball can grab a win in the Champions League this year. I think a win is worth EUR3m!!!
Asagi (long CCP) |
why no trading in the shares this morning? The probability of Celtic qualifying for the Group stages of the 24/25 Champions League group stages have been given a massive shot in the arm.
When Brendan Rodgers left last time around the shares were over 160p.

who would have 'thunk' it after the 10iar season that wasn't, real and atletico back-to-backs in consecutive seasons |
a celtic podcast - lots of praise for scales. a rangers podcast - lots of swearing, 'beale out'
rangers didn't learn from killie-st johns to put intense pressure on calmac |
Great 3 points, some huge performances today from Calmac, Scales, Maeda and O'Riley. Taylor and Turnbull poor again but was all about result today after a couple of poor performances. Off to Spain for a month in morning so tough watch when sober and sets us up nicely for CL and financial results in 3 weeks |
agreed wrtmf: these games are hell as a shareholder.
Lots of questions whether Celtic came out of the transfer window in better shape than they went in. We still don't know on that score, particularly as Palma didn't start today.
However, Lagerbielke was thrown in that the deep end, centre half in an Old Firm game, away from home with no fans working in a novel pairing with Scales (if not novel, it isn't old). Came away with a clean sheet. There's a simple logic to that: Lagerbielke has played a role in a huge result this season.
I am hoping for: a good showing from the like of O'Riley in the Champions League, then get him sold in January.
Win the league again, meaning Champions League bonanza money (value of a Champions League place steps up next season). Sell another player for silly money to the Saudi league in the summer.
But whatever happens, I'll never be entirely comfortable with Brendan Rodgers as manager.

Celtic: Hart, Johnston, Lagerbielke, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Turnbull, Maeda, Furuhashi, Abada.
Substitutes: Bain, Ralston, Bernabei, Holm, Kwon, Yang, Oh, Palma, Kobayashi.
-- -acquired liverpool central defender, not even on bench -turnball and o'reilly are a weak pairing/get out muscled -mcgregor has been struggling for weeks
missing strength and skill of mooy, starfelt, ccv, jota, hatate highlights poor recruitment |
@rustncrust 3 hours ago Its a very hard place to go and get a result, Brendan, don't start turnbull and stop trying to "improve' Kyogo , he's an assassin in the box, you can't improve perfection
-- your experiment hasn't worked brendan! the others have to work on their finishing first |
Only an Old Firm win for Rangers on Sunday will prevent the knives being sharpened for manager Michael Beale, says former Ibrox striker Kris Boyd. (Scottish Sun)
-- the same could be said for rodgers! |

£10m bid from Leeds for Matt O'Riley rejected apparently. Southampton also interested.
Asagi (long CCP) |
well, Rangers' failure to quality means an increase in Champions League TV money for Celtic and CL Group money this season while Rangers will have to make do with the much lesser amounts from the Europa League.
Celtic are at a huge financial advantage already, this just extends it.
Surprised that the usual posters haven't been on here crowing today.
Asagi (long CCP) |
I am surprised that Celtic and Rangers do not appear to have any interest in a merger of the Scottish and English leagues. It would be transformative for their prospects on and off the pitch. |
0-0 st johnstone 19 shots, just 5 on target
need to play kyogo as the target man as per last 2 yrs rodgers is playing him wrong

no goal for 2 games, a draw next week will be a good result |
