my gut feeling is ange will stay another season. if the board back him to strengthen the squad over the summer AND they get a good run in the CL, he'll stay longer. if at anytime he feels he's being short changed he'll not tolerate being messed about. some teams get through managers like months, eg spurs, chelsea, southampton, leeds. i don't think any of them will turn his head, because he know he's just as likely to end up on the casualty list |

Unfortunately this result and performance demonstrate that Celtic need to spend more and spend well to have a high probability of winning the league again next year: a crucial year as the Champions League becomes more lucrative.

The £1.20 sell makes no sense at £1.20 when you can sell 10k at £1.228. Currently £1.375 to buy a similar amount so MM has to move bid up soon.

Baffled. Don't MMs realise the further away they put their offer the less likely they are to get buys or sells? Who will buy at 135p if they see the bid at 120p? That's an expensive trade!
The lack of sells demonstrates that the bid is too low to motivate sells so now we have this stasis.

The support for this club is incredible. The thing that is missing to take the business to the next level is consistent success in the champions league. Not just making up the numbers but regularly getting to the last 16 or the last 8. If Porto can do this then so should Celtic. The European record is really terrible over the last 20 years for a club this size. By the law of averages they must be due a run. |
Surprised they haven't moved the bid up although I suppose they don't expect two way trading at this low price. All going well, two in a row confirmed this weekend and maybe we'll get some press on our growing cash pile. Season tickets out and with a reported 7000 on waiting list, seems they have closed it which is a pain for those wishing to add young kids etc. Tickets for the last two home games sold out in minutes with 700 in the queue when I checked at the time. I wonder if we'll get an rns again this year that results ahead of market expectations?

Because only one of the three market makers is truly active, they've been caught out I'm guessing and no longer want anyone to buy whilst they try and find some sells to balance their books.
I'd guess they'll move the bid to £1.23/1.25 shortly if they have no luck and why would anyone sell now when they would have sold at the same price during Lennon's management and COVID when things looked drastic? |
