25/2/2009 09:44 | imho what has happened more recently ie increased institutional investment was planned before the Feb announcement, hence emphasis on dulling the Feb statment and sell off by many small PI's and subsequent purchase of shares by North Atlantic, etc.. they got in at around a 155p price point rather than the 165p it was at. also chart looks good too around 190-195 then probably see a re-trace to 175p again imho. as boad said quiet encouraging in current climate | dpeach
25/2/2009 08:55 | Buying continued today 11100 picked up this morning for 179p, seems to have moved up off the 174p line nicely @ present | dpeach
24/2/2009 16:30 | just checked offer price £1.7711 and bid is at £1.748 so bid is high @ mo ie want more of PI stock | dpeach
24/2/2009 14:59 | C'mon Dennis - give your reasons ;o) | go with the flow
24/2/2009 10:32 | Dennis, any reasons for why it's now being sold (on a very small scale) ;-) | dpeach
23/2/2009 18:07 | To see why this share is being bought, just consider 2 factors: 1.recent steady growth, and 2. the impact on sterling earnings of the current US dollar rate, compared with last year's | dennis russell
23/2/2009 15:41 | currently a nice chart, looks like North Atlantic are continuing to pick up any lose stock.... now 14+% | dpeach
23/2/2009 14:16 | CEL is traded mainly on PLUS, but even so, the total so far today is under 21k in 15 trades. That doesn't amount to much of a stake. There must be a fear in current circumstances that PI's will take anything marginally above what they paid and think themselves lucky. Any rational assessment of 'value' seems to have gone out of the window. Given that background, I am mildly encouraged that the share price can follow a steadily rising trend without bringing about a deluge of selling. We can only hope that certain favoured sectors will establish a confidence factor that insulates them from the worst of the financial storm which looks set to continue for quite a while yet. | boadicea
23/2/2009 11:00 | I want to make it plain that as a long term holder I am not ramping up the company. However, I guess if there was a take over or buy out there would have to be a complex process just to assess t/o or b/o price. I should think it was particularly poignant in the current financial market conditions - how does one put a price on any stock! Technically, the share price has broken out of the down channel & seems to be heading for the 190p level (target price of Robbie Burns & his short term cohorts!). Like 'Peachy' says the PI's have little to go on and I'm sure the mm's are aware of the short term interest of a tipster. Alternatively, there may be some serious stake building going on by bigger fish although volume is low. I guess all we can assess is the fundamentals of the company plus the perceived added value set against many other stocks that look interesting to establish a true value. Anyone any ideas? 23/2/2009 10:51 | wywcu1.. I think that's reasonable too, I wouldn't want to deny JLC the opportunity to carry out a MBO as I think he's turned the company roundand done a good job, I do though object to it being done on the cheap | dpeach
23/2/2009 10:45 | I would like us to get back to £2.50 before any bid is tabled | wywcu1
23/2/2009 10:18 | no real resistance until 190p, very liquid @ moment, imho as soon as PI are selling you are getting background buys to soak up..really don't want a cr@p offer for the company !!! | dpeach
23/2/2009 10:17 | IMHO alot behind the scenes, which PI not party too, this share is on fire ;-) | dpeach
23/2/2009 10:15 | I really don't understand this.We are up 6.5p on the purchase of 4,100 shares. What on earth would happen if someone tried offloading 50k? | wywcu1
23/2/2009 09:09 | The spread remains obstinately wide but hasn't deterred two buyers at 179.5 and 180p. At least it should keep short term traders at bay. | boadicea
23/2/2009 09:07 | A very good start! But what is driving it? We all know it is great value and very well run, but in the present climate many shares don't reflect their true worth. So, from whence this new popularity and demand! | verger
23/2/2009 08:35 | that's a good start to the week... | dpeach
22/2/2009 11:49 | A solid company whose share price seems to be bucking market trends. Flow | go with the flow

20/2/2009 10:32 | very popular today.... could this be the attack through 174 to move it on to the next resistance @ 195p ish | dpeach
20/2/2009 08:52 | uppola (a bit more) | dpeach
18/2/2009 12:23 | Well looks like North Atlantic Value & Oryx Growth are continuing to soak up PI shares sold (IMHO cheaply), now over 13%......... 3. 17/2/2009 12:31 | just noticed on naked trader website rb was confused ! sell, buy.... Celsis reported a mixed bag with some good and some not so good bits. It was all a bit confusing but on balance I thought best to nab the profit - tried to get 167 on offer but couldn't get that online and ended up talking 164.36 for a profit of £74. So then I saw it begin to climb and, well, er I bought back in.. this time 2,000 at 164.8. Target 190 stop 148 | dpeach
17/2/2009 09:37 | ... is 240p too much to ask? ;o) Flow | go with the flow
