So did no-one go to the meeting?
Presumably the lack of any RNS meant there was no news, but I wondered if Clive turned up and how was the mood in the room?

the oil game is an uncertain one. many problems/delays and so on. add poor/incomplete/obscure/overly optimistic comms and the investor experience is hellish. outright mendacity is a different thing.

the game here is slowly coming together very nicely, unless;
- there is unwelcome news of a long term nature
- there are corporate manipulations to the detriment of the pi

thankfully no evidence of the latter and management have steered the company patiently through trying times towards a debt free status on the cusp of big revenue increases.

let's see if anything new is announced at agm - seems unlikely.

Mr Carver might need CPR if he doesn't come up with something very soon...

I believe they're running on fumes and hence the go slow til production licence. Not sure if they needed a current CPR to validate reserves pre licence award ?

Obviously no material news of note to be discussed today. Looks like a mid morning holding RNS pre AGM and that is very disappointing,They promised so much in Q4 and I believe they misled investors with their PR bull. It's now time to deliver on those promises but unfortunately the issue is down to competence. We will know this year whether they will be able to deliver a deep which roll be defining as to the real success here. Not saying that they can't survive with a successful shallow strategy but not worth all the risk for smaller returns.Carver isn't trustworthy, another issue re current company credibility and I feel we need a changing of the guard to give Roxi its second facelift In 18 months, hopefully not Caspian Sunset.Time to deliver for shareholders after 11 years of disappointment.Tick, tock,

I am now wondering having had so much promised in terms of news flow this year what if anything factual we are going to learn post the Carver update tomorrow. There won't be anything price sensitive as that would have to come out in a RNS. So by co incidence we get something in the morning or the Carver meeting will just be more unsubstantiated jam tomorrow.

and anyone know what resolution 7 refers to?

edit: or what resolution 6 refers to?

konil

resolution number 8 to be put at the agm states

"To authorise the Company to make market purchases of its ordinary shares of £0.01 each"

i thought a company could buy its shares in the market (and cancel them) if it wanted to without shareholder 'permission' to do so?

that aside, it makes me wonder what is behind the resolution?

i have in the past mentioned the possibility that shares were being hoovered up possibly by one or more members of the concert party or related parties.

begs the question why? the obvious answer is that its worth doing...

what do peeps here think? does anyone have any thoughts they care to share?

Bull,

Tomorrow morning but don't hold your breath. Wouldn't be surprised if Clive doesn't turn up tomorrow and down to the Tea Lady or the Cleaner to run the show, probably do a better job. News tomorrow am at some juncture otherwise there'll be loads of questions and Clive will be looking to make a quit exit.

I do have some questions -;

- Why was the 801 sidetrack stopped short of TD ?
- How much cash in the bank ?
- When will production licence be signed ie how long will the process take ?
- When will they be able to afford enough equipment for each deep well (pipes,drilling mud etc) so as to avoid future delays
- What is the H2 project timeline, anything changed ?
- Any more acquisitions in 2018 ?
- Any concerns re MJF watering out and P2 reducing ?
- When is the CPR planned ?
- When will they deliver a deep !
