02/2/2012 13:03 | China want/need all their rare earth metals for themselves. Any tungsten available from elsewhere will be in great demand for many, many years to come. IMPO/DYOR. | jojo_jo
31/1/2012 19:12 | It would appear that the supply of Tungsten from China is being restricted. It might be a good time to buy a few shares in a tungsten miner. | nicanon
27/1/2012 13:54 | LOL, 100k available online (Selftrade), bid 1 mi1. :-) | charmer1_23
25/1/2012 17:11 | 3.6mill taken at 0.58 which is a big premium Versus the current share price - Effectively it has landed an opp to buy a few | tomboyb
25/1/2012 13:07 | Not offering more than 375k Max online - | tomboyb
23/1/2012 11:50 | There may well be placings along the way, that is true. But as JoJo-Jo has already pointed out, there is an esimated 36000 tons if you take 0.1% as a guide, worth about $1.4 billion. Wolfe Minerals reckon on 65% recovery, WO3, though it may be more or less at this mine, ie 65% of 36000 tons. But, the latest rns said that the drill performed in 2008 had a grade of 0.73% which if repeated could make this a very large deposit indeed, and worth a lot more. For such a small market cap (currently under £5m) this is a very good risk/reward in my view. Also most of the tungsten currently being mined is in China and they are using all they take out of the ground. Wolfe Minerals have some good links if you want to find out about the economics of this project, as they have similar in Devon. EDIT: 36000 tons not 3600 tons. Sorry my mistake! | bobbyshilling
23/1/2012 10:09 | Placing galore | enamel
23/1/2012 09:42 | Morning - thats the largest volume i've seen here for a while - Agreed JOJO - 65% held by two - | tomboyb
21/1/2012 00:03 | Not that much stock around, and someone appears to be building a position looking at today's action. Also I guess a hundred and one buyers (including me) ready to jump in should it drop back to 0.35p. Wishful thinking. I can't see this dropping much from this level, although I would welcome the chance to build on my rather paltry holding. Have done some research earlier on this thread for those interested in this tungsten play - one of a very few in Europe, or the world for that matter. IMPO/DYOR. Jo. PS. Stef - I said this would fly. It's not an oil co. anymore, and now operates in Spain. Expect a name change shortly, to something like Iberian Tungsten or similar, to reflect the new direction. | jojo_jo
20/1/2012 21:42 | I guess charmer there was no stock and somebody tried to buy size and they were charged a massive premium, looks like it was 0.5p to sell at the close and any price to buy, i tried to buy myself but was quoted a huge premium as well to buy which i declined, could be volatile on Monday. | 27howard
20/1/2012 19:42 | Good luck on the lotto stefield , we're doing fine here. | flashheart
20/1/2012 16:47 | OK peeps, what has caused the excitement here today? Cheers :-) | charmer1_23
19/1/2012 12:25 | jo jo this was my first venture into oil and lost a few quid, but to be honest i learned a lot and have done very well since so dont even hold a grudge, but i still look in occasionally and see people trying desperately to ramp it . i only wish to share the things i learned and make sure no one gets suckered in by this. i have yet to see a decent post by anyone explaining (WITH DETAILED FIGURES) how the co. is actually gonna make any money ! if people wanna take a PUNT then thats upto them, but i think they have better odds on the lotto ! | stefield
18/1/2012 14:35 | I know quite a few women who have, LOL. Stef, I don't know what happened to your investment here in the past, but this looks like a new beginning... time to forgive and forget - perhaps even recover your losses. Reduce risk, buy at/near the bottom. The directors have been putting their own money in recently, so must be confident. The reserves value should support the share price for the forseeable future. Carbide Tungsten (Icon) shares have jumped five-fold since starting a similar such project in Australia. This tungsten/tailings deposit looks even bigger than theirs. All IMPO, so DYOR. Jo. | jojo_jo
18/1/2012 08:52 | seriously, how many people do you know who have changed their name ? im sure he had a good reason ??? they dont have any money and they aren t making any . | stefield
17/1/2012 00:37 | Not concerned about the oil co. personally. This is a new venture, starting effectively from zero, so not too much downside risk. Don't mind a retrace as I'd like an opportunity to buy a lot more. IMPO. PS. They should of course change their name to reflect the new direction. | jojo_jo
16/1/2012 23:24 | sp only need to rise 100 times to get back to the original placing price. if an oil co. cant make money at these prices then something is seriuosly wrong. michael masterman ceo. previously changed his name (serious red flag!) and now owns 54% of the co. ... wonder if he s now changing it again.... to tomboyb ? | stefield
16/1/2012 15:29 | Thanks for that Jo Jo - Will take a look at that - CSH slow and steady we'll see progress of the drilling - MMs offering 750k AT 0.40P - Thats probably more reflective and better - | tomboyb
16/1/2012 15:19 | Carbide Tungsten - Carb Tung Fpo(CNQ) up 14% in Australia overnight. They have a near identical Tungsten mining/tailings business model to Caspian in Ozland. | jojo_jo
16/1/2012 14:49 | I think MP was referring to 'double6'. Hardly a full-on ramp squad! The muppets don't seem to have noticed this one, thank heavens. IMPO. | jojo_jo
16/1/2012 12:58 | Monkey Puzzle - 16 Jan'12 - 12:54 - 28319 of 28320 Jeez......full on ramp squad here......wonder where they will all be in a week's time? Full on - where? There is only 2-3 posters new inv on here - | tomboyb
