My buys went through as sells and it looks like most of the trades that appear to be sells were in fact buys, bodes well for Monday.!!!

CNR next one to blow, look at the trades over there all showing as sells in red but they are buys.!!!! Well undervalued.!!!

mms have benn keen to take all day with sells going above mid. there must be some worked trade on its way.

I only bought back in recently on the back of large buys and what I thought would be a positive update from Kahzakstan.....either selling of assets or resumption of production? I've not really considered the USA operation to be anything much to tlak about to date...maybe that's changed?

True Monkey. The frustrating thing is my holding was sold off and yielded about £50 during the summer. In fact I wondered then whether I should consider buying just as a punt. Makes you wonder doesn't it?

That steaming approach, depends on the energy cost of producing the steam...

Out in the rockies down California way, the U.S. military have drilled down to the point where the ground temperature gets to above 100°c. Then they inject water, and the resulting steam is used to drive turbines. (purely experimental at the mo) BUT...they think that with worldwide energy price rises they could be able to scale it for commercial usage. I think there's a company helping them do just that, though I don't have any names.

And another company I read of uses new technology to fracture the oil in the ground creating different resulting products - Aero-fuel/Diesel etc etc...

I wish I could find out who and where, cause I'd be seriously interested in looking at investing.

Would be interesting to know where they would get the money from to carry out such techniques?

If there is anything tangible behind this rise I would guess an offer approach.

They could aslo employ a steaming process to improve yields but all this is guesswork without something from the company.

I thought the properties in the U.S. were old sites that we were going to extract maybe a few tens of barrels a day or less from???

I wonder if they have somehow been using some new technology to up the flow rate??? I read recently of a U.S. company that specialise in using chemicals to effectively raise the viscosity level of the raw oil to make it flow easier, which was reputed to make such wells more productive, but... Is that the situation?

It would be very interesting to read if that's the case...

If I was a gambler, I'd be buying back in, but as the saying goes...

I sent one after the results were issued...still haven't had any reply so I'm not surprised. Investor relations were never his strong point. I did manage to speak with him over the phone once though but that was a long time ago.

This is CSH we're talking about....they never follow any of the rules.....I'm just grateful we haven't seen a denial RNS...they can't leave it much longer or they could be accused of allowing a false market in the stock...then again I doubt Masterman would give a toss about that either. Let's just hope there is some positive news on its way for a change.

Think it is disgraceful that the company has not issued an RNS in relation to the 108% change/rise in the share price today.

Check out PELE - producing 1000 bopd which could rise to 2000 bopd by the new year. 20m+ reserves with 'significant increases' due to be published by end of this year. Market cap a laughable £25m!
