27/1/2017 12:44 | Well, now that it has reached 220 where next? I have had this one on my watch list for over a year but never pushed the button for the simple reason that all the metrics are pretty unattractive, debt, pension deficit, slim and falling margins, shrinking order book. The flip side is that it does generate decent profits and pays a very tasty divi. Is it the classic value trap? | salpara111
27/1/2017 12:08 | Yes but for how much per share, something is happening ,as usual the little people are last to know ! | kfp
27/1/2017 12:03 | Maybe someone will come along and put this out of its misery?!! | spoole5
27/1/2017 10:57 | This is almost down to a 7-year low - at least! Is it justified? My continual worries with CLLN are the debt and small margins. They have only to make a mess of one large contract and that's the profits gone (hello Balfour Beatty)... | kiwihope
26/1/2017 14:31 | Factoring by santander I assume? | zcaprd7

25/1/2017 09:38 | 67 From the Dec 7 RNS: However, there is an increasing trend among some customers to engage suppliers like Carillion on framework contracts and we do not include the total value of these in our order book or probable orders. Currently, we already have good visibility of some £1.5 billion of revenue from these contracts over the next five years, in addition to that included in orders and probable orders. Is it related to the above? red | redartbmud
25/1/2017 09:34 | hxxps://www.carillio perhaps ? | s2lowner
25/1/2017 09:31 | Anyone know why Santander would have a charge over Carillion and various subsidary companies? See Companies House. Taken out 9th December and relates to a Uncommitted Receivables Purchase framework agreement. Is this a normal end of year accounting exercise? | 67cd43
24/1/2017 18:24 | Agreed, I'm back in today. 20% of allocated funds committed... | zcaprd7
24/1/2017 17:47 | JAF - You comment is great and I totally agree.I sold the second and final lot of my MRW holdings last Friday and invested one third of the money on Carillion today. I prepared to hold this share for a year or two. In the mean time, I am happy to collect the juicy dividends until the share price recovers in due course. | kcsham
24/1/2017 17:42 | It is time the directors did something to stop this continual shorting of the shares. Firstly they could show a bit of faith and buy some shares themselves. Secondly I would suggest they look at all the assets and consider selling some of these and mounting a share buy back. If they continue to watch the share price drift down they could leave the company open to a very low bid with a good chance of success. | poacher45
24/1/2017 17:00 | Exactly my feelings. Until I read an actual RNS from the company telling me that things are not going as planned, I will just ignore the share price and the shorters and wait for the very tasty dividend. Since I am not selling, until (and if) the dividend is cut, the shorters can play whatever games they want. | jaf1948
24/1/2017 16:54 | Would be interested to know what has changed in Peel Hunt's view. They upgraded CLLN as recently as 1/1/17. | m4rtinu |
