It fell from 140.10 to 99.70 on 8th January and was at 77.80 on 4th of March when most stocks fell to all time lows.So still worth a punt.

It was cheap but its had a reasonable run now and i'd like to see how trading goes from June 15 before buying back in. Especially as only 10%of the shops are opening initially.Don't forget its not massively below pre covid levels now.

Wiseman,

I have given ample reason as to why this Co is barely solvent.

Sorry if you don't like the news.

Wiseman,

no disrespect but you perhaps need to attend a financial analysis course.

I see the weight of business is on the buying side, but the MMs are calling the share price lower. An opportunity to add a few more before lift-off?

Mallorca - once again you betray your lack of understanding of financing arrangements. CF runs a revolving credit facility where the net interest paid reduces the tax bill. This is why the cash figure is low. The two figures to focus on are net debt £143m (debt less cash) and cash generation (ebitda is a proxy for this and was £82m). In the previous year they used a large part of the cash generation to pay out GBP 49million in dividends - this year they won't make that payment, saving cash.Let's assume you have a mortgage of 500k (on which you are paying 2.75% interest) and cash in the bank of 400k (earning 0.25% interest). Would you rather crow about having 400k cash (and pay 10,750 of unnecessary interest) or pay down your mortgage leaving you with less cash but an identical net debt position of 100k?

lastchance,

get out of this stock my friend.

Believe me, CARD will go into Administration and then into Liquidation.

I noticed from the accounts that, as at end January, CARD had only £5m in cash !
It costs it £4m per year just for the interest payments on its loans!

All stores currently closed with only 10% due to reopen.

Furlough pay coming to an end.

Covenants being reviewed monthly.

I think that they better go for a fund raising quickly before its too late.
