only 10% of stores reopening next week !

Leaves circa 900 remaining closed, with annual lease cost of circa £4m.

Remaining staff on Furlough pay - but what happens when furlough pay scheme ends !

I'm expecting an attempted placing before end June.

I think its clear that feedback from re opened shops will be key to share price performance going forward. I'm neutral until we get a steer on consumer demand.

Mallorca we all want to send you a congratulations card, I'm not sure what for??? So the stock is down, typical pull back on the trend, but here's a clue, bad news on retail from Bank of England, scare mongering over household debt, most retailers on ftse gone red today. Now what card sure we give you congratulations for??? I wonder???

I will give you Thomas Cook, but I think it was corrupt, why would a bank suddenly ask for an extra £200m on pre definite rescue deal, total set up.

More buyers than sellers again today, but the MMs continue to call them lower. I'm tempted to buy a few more. As a long-retired analyst and Stock Exchange member it smells like a bargain, never mind the encouraging fundamentals.

Mallorca - that is a sweeping statement, it has strong fundamentals and the covid situation as made it easier to improve their debt because banks have been told to support business more. Specialist retailer, you can't neglect their online presence, they could shut all stores and just go online, highly speculative to make such ascertions.

In 2019 my best short was Thomas Cook - made just under £42k.

2020 I am confident that CARD is the short of the year.

Loving this fall.
The financials make a placing a certainty, however, this is already doomed to go bust.

Dear oh dear.

Yet again the balance of transactions are on the buying side. MMs going short at around 50p? More buying pressure should see the share price move significantly higher, back towards 100p.
