05/10/2022 11:05 | ASSETS OF UP TO 146P PER SHARE INCLUDE ONGOING CONTINGENCY PAYMENTS, WHICH THE NWMD DEAL DOESN'T REFLECT, THEREFORE, CNE SHAREHOLDERS COULD EXTRACT MORE VALUE WITHOUT A DEAL! | silverstone1
05/10/2022 10:06 | Read the Palliser analysis. The market does not value the latest management deal on those assets as reflected in the current share price reaction to the NewMed bld. | churchill2
05/10/2022 08:59 | Clearly market don't value the assets same as you Maybe you should explain why you value them so highly.Revenue etc compare to market | officerdigby
04/10/2022 23:11 | WE DON'T NEED A DEAL AT ALL BECAUSE CNE SHAREHOLDERS COULD EXTRACT MORE VALUE BY RETURNING UP TO 214P PER SHARE VIA AN ISSUE OF B SHARES AND STILL HAVE ASSETS OF UP TO 146P PER SHARE! | silverstone1
03/10/2022 13:10 | Because they are inept incompetent over-privileged under performing wastes of oxygen/skin who are milking this holy mofo of a gravy train for every penny they can squeeze out of it for as long as possible Palatial Edinburgh offices - they should be on westhills or Dyce industrial estates in Aberdoom like all the other fekkers I holiday (at great cost) for a week every year just down from their offices…… Soon got that knocked out of me after a few nights in happy valleys and Jamie’s 🤣 | adg
03/10/2022 12:28 | This new deal leaves a lot to be desired. 620 million dollars being offered when we had 631 on the balance sheet at the end of June and presumably added to that figure by the 28th September. The 99p asset figure looks understated. NewMed shares have lost 9 per cent since the deal was announced. Maybe I am missing something but why do Capricorn not slim down the Management and staff. Exit the expensive offices in Edinburgh and run the business accordingly to the benefit of the shareholders. | churchill2
30/9/2022 12:17 | i think thats the angle nigelpm its quite a while until the longstop date of end June 2023, plenty of time for others to run the slide rule. i took some chips of the table at 254 yesterday but still hold 2/3rds. | finkie
30/9/2022 10:26 | Good point on FX rates moving the price. Surprised no-one else was interested given the cash position but perhaps this might flush out anyone else? | nigelpm
30/9/2022 10:06 | I suppose the question is what the actual value of the residual holding in the enlarged group will be worth... frankly I do t have a view on this as haven't looked into it. | heialex1
30/9/2022 09:16 | Obviously some hesitation/caution from market on this most recent deal as share price back to pre announcement recent high. £/$ now @ 1.12 so several percent drop on the GB£ equivalent (@1.07 $to£ it was £2.71 so I assume would now be nearer £2.60) All in all nothing exciting and yet another agonising wait for CNE holders due to the inept, incompetent and complacent muppets in charge. Couldn’t make it up if you tried……. | adg
29/9/2022 22:53 | FOR THE FIRST TIME I'VE FAILED TO MORE THAN DOUBLE MY MONEY WITHIN 12 MONTHS BECAUSE I BOUGHT A 7 FIGURE SUM AT 125P IN AUGUST LAST YEAR, HOWEVER, I'VE MORE THAN DOUBLED MY MONEY WITHIN 13 MONTHS AND THE NWMD DEAL IS BETTER THAN THE TLW DEAL, BUT AN EVEN BETTER DEAL IS LIKELY! | silverstone1
29/9/2022 14:59 | the gas in Egypt is sold at a low and basically fixed price. $2.80, or thereabouts. | xxnjr
29/9/2022 14:56 | Whilst this is a vast improvement on the TLW deal, I still think that at 271p/share it fundamentally undervalues the CNE assets, given the elevated price of natural gas resources. With prices unlikely to fall anytime soon given the situation in Ukraine, the damage to the Nord stream pipeline and the strength of the dollar. I was hoping for a 320-330p valuation. The cash payment of 172p will great mind, provided CNE management don't manage to foul that up like they did with the special dividend! | p6r0
29/9/2022 13:48 | WHERE IS THE-ALL-CAPS-GUY. I WANT TO KNOW IF HE IS HAPPY IR NOT?! | officerdigby
29/9/2022 12:06 | Sorry NewMed. | churchill2
29/9/2022 12:03 | Be interesting to see what Palliser and other major shareholders have to say. A lot could depend on the exchange rate used and prospects and suitability of MedWay.The current share price is not encouraging. | churchill2
29/9/2022 12:02 | NigelPm Correct again Nigel :) Well done. I bought more Shell rather than take the opportunity Cappers side. Oh well.. | geckotheglorious
29/9/2022 11:29 | Great deal and vindicates all my views when the price was <£2 and many were laughing at me. Looks they've all gone quiet now. | nigelpm
29/9/2022 11:26 | The 271p is represented by a 172p dividend and 99p for the rest of the assets. The 99p represents 10% of the combined entity. We always want more but so much better than the tlw deal. Suet | suetballs
29/9/2022 11:02 | Reading the RNS I’m not clear - will we end up with 271p plus 10% of the end company NewMed or just get the circa 271p per share ? Either is obviously good news considering | adg
29/9/2022 10:57 | No I didn't - thanks. Will read the rns now. Suet | suetballs
29/9/2022 10:51 | Suet, did you not see NewMed deal Proposed pre-Completion cash special dividend of $620m to Capricorn shareholders Expected to deliver total value to Capricorn shareholders of 271 pence per Capricorn share Withdrawal of intention to recommend the Tullow Combination | xxnjr |
