https://x.com/share_talk/status/1770757981447020981?s=46Now that #CMET has its recent issues well behind it and is arguably in a stronger position than it was before, the journey to funding should be a relative walk in the park @ZaksTradersCafe The fact that the shares are still only half of where they were two years ago, offers a decent opportunity to those looking forward to production.

I have been in CMET since day 1 (2020). To see where we were and are now (and the major hiccup in the middle) this is looking fantastic. Clear strategy, strong relationships with Sri Lanka, big players joining the party, well funded and backed. The final piece to the puzzle before pressing go is the CAPEX funding where all the signs are there for a positive outcome on that. The market will then react and in my view it will be a big one and continue to grow as resource increases, construction starts and then fingers crossed moving into production in 2025 (my prediction). I'll keep my predictions to myself as to avoid coming across as rampy, but it's fair to say I'm excited ?

Significantly increasing the value and size of the resource...This is a superb update with no fluff or bluster.Facts and the next announcement likely to be the news on Sheffield or LB or both!! A bidding war of who wants it most would be good to get the best JV partner for us shareholders! Is it a stretch to see this as a billion pound company ... I don't think so

Well spotted. They stated in previous interviews the licence adjacent to the current block has a first refusal to CapMet and they've also stated the resource currently is to the existing boundary hence the reason why you'd want the resource continuation to be added to your available mining area. It'll be good to read about the plans to increase the resource and the licence areas as clearly with any partner, the NPV is likelyTo multiply as the resource is proved. It'll also make Sheffield and LB want to get this boxed off in order to also ensure they capitalise and secure this Global resource.

Its been an up and down road but I have not chased it, I do not have a big holding I wish I could aford more but I am starting to get a little excited that it has a chance of multi bagging. The kind of stock everyone should have a few and forget about. It will or should go billy bonkers if either of the two suitors buy in. Very interesting that Shefield have taken 10% its saying well if we do not win the bidding war we are going to profit from the upside. Fingers crossed and GLA it could really go to a pound over the next few years imho.

Sheffield Resources Limited ("Sheffield" or "the Company") (ASX: SFX) advises that it has entered into ashare subscription agreement (Agreement) with Capital Metals Plc (Capital Metals) (AIM: CMET), theowner of the Eastern Minerals Project in Sri Lanka, whereby Sheffield shall subscribe for 34,500,000ordinary shares of Capital Metals for total consideration of £1,250,000.Following completion of the Agreement, Sheffield will own approximately 10% of the issued capital ofCapital Metals, with the Company also securing a 12 month share option to acquire a further 17,250,000shares for total consideration of £843,750, enabling Sheffield to increase its interest in Capital Metalsto approximately 14% of total issued capital. The terms are subject to a 60 day exclusivity period, during which Sheffield shall complete customary due diligence. The parties also intend to negotiate andagree a definitive investment agreement, inclusive of funding from Sheffield to support projectdevelopment, during this time. Until such time as a definitive agreement is concluded, there can be nocertainty that a transaction with respect to the Eastern Minerals Project will be completed. The exclusivityin favour of Sheffield does not apply to the Memorandum of Understanding with the LB Group announcedby Capital Metals on 9 May 2023.Sheffield expects to fund the initial share subscription, any subsequent option exercise, and any pre-FIDinvestment at the project level from existing cash reserves.

So a further drilling programme now commences in April and another update this week.A very confident announcement and the fact he stated what is an already heavily discounted NPV in his opinion will be achieved and clearly that will grow as the resource grows.45-70pps as it currently stands and clearly huge upside too. Sounds like the deal is more likely to be with LB and Sheffield have taken a very smart investment decision. Upgrade in resource along with JV to production and the additional licence permit... over 1 GBP

Haha no problem mate. Yeah there's different approaches to the funding deal from both parties, but end result similar.. CMET will be a fully funded project with possible production revenue in 12 month from construction. Based on only 10% of resource.. this is quite incredible

Smarker From my understanding they are looking at the deal as stated with the 50/50 profit split with the partner fully funding the capex to achieve production but with some forward investment to increase the resource to improve the NPV - so a detailed drill programme. Reading a 50/50 JV with a fully funded capex and circa 2.5m-5m drill programme will see this go ballistic. The 40-70pps will seem cheap as the resource is likely (as previously released) achieve a 4 fold increase.

A reminder of the basic terms of the talks with first funding party LB Group (£5bn market cap)..You'd expect the new funder to be looking at similar levels of investment. --LB Group to fully fund the Project as defined by the IHC Mining independent Development Study Report and Preliminary Economic Assessment announced in May 2022 ("PEA"), which is estimated to cost US$81 million. The JV will fund any expansion of the Project beyond the PEA parameters on a 50/50 basis. Capital Metals to start earning its share of JV profits as soon as shipments begin, which could be within 12 months of the start of construction.

The resource upgrade is a given if you look at previous RNSs around the actual resource. The adjacent licences also are available on a 1st option and considering the resource goes to the boundary of the licence block, again huge upside. NPV is hugely discounted and based on the lower resource... upside in terms of partner, resource and of course share value...Today's announcement with Sheffield is significant as we now have two well capitalised and specialist industrial groups expressing an interest in supporting the Project into production. The Project has highly attractive economics with post tax NPVs based on the 2022 Preliminary Economic Assessment* ranging from US$155-235 million, capex of US$81 million and Base Case total revenues of US$645 million over an initial 10-year Project life (with clear optimisation potential and further resource growth). In the context of our current market capitalisation (being approximately £10 million), with a post-Subscription cash balance of approximately £2.5 million, we are now both well-funded and in the best position to unlock material shareholder value by closing Project funding with either Sheffield or LB Group. I look forward to providing further updates as appropriate."
