I think we should contact the company and ask if they have any idea why there haven't been any more TR-1s. Of course they aren't responsible - the holders are responsible for telling the company, but they will probably have an idea what's going on?

So only KL-Kepong International Ltd has updated Capital Metals so one can conclude the others increased their holdings to remain at the same percentage? Bit surprised we fell back all the way to mid-3p level, but that's AIM for you - overshoot/undershoot/overshoot etc.Commercial deals always take a while to sign, I never thought it would happen in Q4 but will be happy if it happens in Q1.GLA

So that's the first of several TR1 albeit this shows no change to quantity and purely a reduction on percentage due to the placement.Looking forward to seeing the ones that increased.

There's some incredibly shortsighted traders here. They've just raised 1.2m in two tranches at 4.25 and yet someone sells at 3.90... utter madness with a JV announcement pending and the TR1's which are now overdue for the LT holders that reportedly supported the fund raise.

Good afternoon Mr Ap Findley....in the bigger scheme of things if it enables the company to facilitate the JV I do not give a dam as it will be many multiples of this as it will derisk the project. All be it I get your point.

So some info...share register was from the 23rd October and is due to be updated but gives an indication and comparison but unlike Apfindley it is my understanding ALL significant shareholders have now participated in the placements to ensure their holdings remain. This isn't some backstreet boiler room raise.Email address below of Julie Reid from LBG just incase you also want to gauge the company. Looking forward to reading the terms of the JV but from the framework it's going to be company making.Brent Holdings Limited 24,793,095 8.9%Bart Properties Pty Ltd. 16,438,725 5.9%Roman Resource Management Pty Ltd. 14,423,869 5.2%Stanton Investment Ltd. 12,678,820 4.5%KL-Kepong Int Ltd.11,822,984 4.2%Chulu Holdings PTY Ltd. 9,093,048 3.3%juliereid@lomonbillions.global

Definitely agree cyber, it's good overall for the company. .I still believe the comment I made is not far from reality though, as the reaction by that other poster shows either total ignorance or complicity. When you get that sort of reaction you know you've riled the other party. Brilliant.

The rich always get better deals than the rest of us, that's just life. I think the placing is good for the company overall, as they say more cash in the coffers helps to avoid LB stiffing them at the last minute. And it's not a huge placing, or a huge discount. Just my view anyway.

Sounds like another case of certain investors (probably familiar names) approaching the company and pushing them into a placing, discounted, which is only to the advantage of those people. So they didn't want to pay open market price, instead getting a near 20% discount to what everyone else has to pay.And you applaud this? And now over 300mill in issue. And no those shares won't be tightly held, they will be looking for a profitable exit, and the proceeds then offered to another company as funding for discounted shares. And the merry-go-round of a select few people continues.

Another placing, but a small one again, no biggie in the scheme of things, and it will help the company as they say. Sounds like it's existing holders, and they won't be selling. Encouraging that they want more!

Someone called Brian Brent of Queensland seems to run that fund, he doesn't have much of an online profile though. Possibly a UHNWI who doesn't like to advertise his wealth...

The Aussie investor "holding over 5%" who just bought more shares must be Brent Holdings, from the company's significant shareholder page. Hopefully it will be updated shortly. A good vote of confidence...

So putting some thoughts down... from deals I've been involved in previously, one of the prerequisite of any JV is to ensure sufficient working capital is secured ahead of the final signing, to reduce risk and safeguard their CapEx to fund the mining programme. LB Group would also want to ensure the adjacent licences are secured and this requires capital from Capital Metals. The fact the two investors have stumped up, one being a 5 percent holder, the one question you'd want to ensure before parting with further funds is how close/ secure is the JV and knowing its likely to have been the final criteria, I'm expecting the LB announcement in quick succession now - followed by the licence applications and approvals. Exciting times...

I think it's a master stroke and rather than having shareholders selling their placement shares they've raised the buffer with two long standing holders.Bring on the JV
