Orbit Garant 227 Rigs - Mainly Focused on Canada but some exposure to West Africa (13 Rigs)- positive comments post their Fiscal Q3.

"We drilled approximately 431,000 meters in the quarter, an increase of 20.3% from 359,000 in Q3 last year."

"We are encouraged by the strong increase in customer demand we are experiencing across our operations and we believe this positive momentum will continue to be supported by the strength of gold and copper prices, and as macroeconomic conditions continue to stabilize."

just popped up 8-10%

so, unless there is some news
my guess is that it will take a rest
& as we are seeing today any price jump normally triggers some sellers, which probably will inhibit any new rise for X days

(but imo it is currently worth more, but any rising trend takes time)

gleach23 - I have checked this point and you are right - at least it wasn't there last weekend when I updated my own spreadsheet

Exactly Phillis. I think kannerwas must have just looked at their cash statement today which just makes it look as though it was paid on 4th May. It wouldn't have been there yesterday.

Anyway, 'tis finally paid.

got mine today, finally

AJ Bell need to change their system, just their clients having to wait 2 weeks versus people at other brokers to get a divi
& I had to wait weeks for another divi, from STM
The problem is AJ Bell imo.

it ain't good enough.

(& is there a risk that some divis never get paid to clients ??)

Just received email from AJBell confirming payment of divi at end of today. With reference to the post above saying that divi received from AJBell on 4th May it is totally inconsistent to the excuses they have been giving me.

hmmmm

if some AJ Bell clients get their divi quickly & some are still waiting 2 weeks later (& there were also bigger delays with STM divi) it's not good.
C'mon AJ Bell, get on with it !

In defence of AJ Bell I have accounts both with them and with ii, with CAPD in both. The dividend was credited on the same day - 4th May - in both accounts.
Good to see the share price moving at last.

To be honest, I think I spend too much time watching prices ;)

For info the other mini auctions are 0850-0900 and 1350-1400.

New recent highs now - looking good.

Cheers gleach23, I've learnt something new! I've never really bothered to get into the mechanics of the markets so will try to remember that.

Not sure what those 1 share buys are about but it seems we are on the cusp of breaking out now.

Have to remember rivaldo that ADVFN prices don't move in the mini auction between 1050 and 1100. The Offer had actually moved up but wasn't reflected on ADVFN until the close of the auction at 1100.

Two 1 share buys and a 32 share buy at 78p, a full 1p above the published 77p full offer price.

One of those legendary MM signals perhaps?! Whatever, good to see that plus other more meaningful buying coming in now at that 77p offer.

anyone looking for a broker might want to avoid picking AJ Bell

By the way, Barclays credited my CAPD dividend to my account almost two weeks ago, on the 5th May. I'm surprised to see AJ Bell so slow at this - I thought they were supposed to be one of the better providers by reputation.

Interesting. IG have historically been slow at dividends but for Capital no problem. Anyway, I bought more this morning I am pleased to say, as I do have cash laying around at the moment. Should have bought a lot more really, but there you go.

DI holder

DI = ?

----

sure does seem crazy
this is supposed to be the UK in 2021 (with things like payments between telephones, proximity payments from a bank card, etc etc
not 1975 !

Received from CAPD HO just

"I have made some enquiries on your behalf.
AJ Bell are a DI holder so payments in respect of dividends are routed through Computershare. We make one direct funds transfer to Computershare who then disseminates it out to the DI holders. Computershare has confirmed to me that they made all payments on the date due and added that if AJ Bell is yet to receive the funds, it may be still with the custodian bank – it would be up to AJ Bell to chase this down by contact"

I have just had an up and a downer with Bell
They still are saying they are not yet in funds from Computershare cheque(!)

COMPLAIN!
