The DOW has surged this evening by over 250 points the FTSE should follow with a very strong rise as well tomorrow ( Thursday ) - should therefore see Capita finishing the day well over £7.00.

BBD - Just about - I was looking last night and it does look like there was a further, smaller Double Bottom bounce.

It would be nice to see the resistance at 700p being broken next.

In this weeks Investors Chronicle page 24 Capita is mentioned in an article on shares that should be bought as inflation rises. It says in times of rising inflation companies will want to cut costs in the back offcie areas and Capita will benefit greatly from these contracts.
It also says Capita's contracts are always over a long term so certainty of earnings is assured.

On another chart point - I think we have a flag or triangle formation right now and therefore a breakout either way should occur very soon.

My guess would be that it would be on the upwards side for the reason that the short term 12 day SMA has crossed over the long term 100day SMA. The 100 day SMA has also dipped below the current share price

My prediction is that we should be breaking the £7 barrier again soon.

But I have been very wrong before. Oh well - we shall see.

yes not so far off the lower trend line on a 5 year log chart:
(we'll forget about the dotcom anomaly earlier!)

Nice 1 trt. Unfortunately the uptrend (chart pattern) does appear to be off course now. It has deviated in the past and snapped back on course. We shall see.

Oscar - As far as the charts go, IMHO, its not too bad a deviation and should bounce back. The new upward trend was a little too steep and therefore it maybe just correcting itself.

On page 17 of this weeks Share Magazine Capita is one of their "plays" of the week with a strong " BUY " recommendation. They mention the strong growth that should come from all the aquisitions and big companies wanting to outsource back office operations.
