Its only half a billion !

No one needs to be accountable just dress it up as none cash write offs and who cares - its only shareholders cash anyway..... now back to the Director's Restaurant ....

Getting back to basics, a few years ago as a 'customer' of Capita I noticed that they always sent ten confusing letters when one simple letter would have been ample. Scale that up a few zillion times and you have the present situation.

How big a punt, 60000m? Be careful out there, and may your cardboard box never go soggy.

Still got to buy the right though if you're short.

The point is this company doesn't make any money and hasn't for years, hence the annual 'exceptionals'. NHS staff getting a pay rise will let the wages genie out of the bottle and Capita are highly exposed with their 57000 employees.

Without Woodford propping this one up because he can't afford to sell Capita would be down to a quid, everyone knows it.

Dont forget shorters, you will need to deliver 1.5 times your short position in rights shares when they are issued.

Well I for one am happy to take a big punt. Lets see where this is in 18 months

no, the market cap will be nowhere near £3bn - you're assuming that the current price will be the price ex-rights. that's not the case. i would estimate £1.20 to £1.30 - happy for others to chip in on that.

edit: could be very wrong on this, it could be that the market price will hold up...

It's a bunch of mugs averaging down, that's what it is Paddy. I guess compared to their buy price of 4 and over an average of 1.14 does look a good deal!

so after the equity raising the market cap would be somewhere in the region of £3 billion, no cash generated in the next year and a shrinking business, there is a madness in the air..

The market clearly likes this. Should be a very good take up imo.
Invest £18,000 today = 10,000 shares.
Rts Shs = £10,500 = 15,000 shares

Total shs = £25,000
Cost = £ £28,500
Average = £1.14

Thats a punt worth taking imo

Are they the same suckers who shorted at £4 a couple of months ago?

The 70p is irrelevant - if you are an existing shareholder and take up your rights in full the rights price is irrelevant.

When can those that picked up the 70p shares start offloading them into the market? Tidy profit at current price!

EPS for 2018 is around 20p(including the new shares) A PE of 10 could see this back at £2.

Yes, well done nigelpm. Will your crystal ball reveal the likely close? I'm reckoning on back to about 160p again.

1r the big shareholders will be influential in the price as they want a big discount to help balance their pot
