Liv,

I would imagine the volume would be higher if its leaking. Looks like group of little traders invaded for a little while. You can match the buys and sells of equal size on the live trades. We are due news very soon on what Art plans to do next. Last one was only a tiddler of a placing, will he get the pb or alt f next?

Regards,
Ed.

Hi Jamie- hope your right. I reduced holding by a third as concerned about outcome. Still hold a sizable amount though. Time will tell....

Sorry I've been working the last few days.Nothing has changed whatsoever apart from some PI's are bored and pulling out, some expect a placing, some are shorting and some don't even know what they are talking about lol.I'm still holding and have no reason to be concerned with the current share price The conversations I've had were very positive however we shall see....

All down hill from this RNS. $400K per month. Id like to see the books!30 June 2018, the Company had consolidated cash balances of US$1,736,000. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Placing to fund the Company's on-going general and administrative expenses. This principally covers a full technical team including geologists, a geophysicist, reservoir engineers, a drilling engineer and in-house Counsel, which are approximately US$400,000 per month, as the Company seeks to progress its projects in West Africa

Must say things looking decidedly scary here with the continuous share price drops and increasing sells.

We need news and soon.

COPL is 100% out of cash based on their cash balance as of March 31 plus the additional dilutive financing at their current burn rate of $400K USD per month. Personally, I think the gig is up. It would pretty much take a miracle at this point to see OPL 226 succeed.

liv,

Yeah a kinda typical pattern with sells early on and a recovery after lunch. Hopefully Art will give us a new trading pattern soon if he seals one of these deals. Still in a holding pattern at present. I'm still not selling any until I see some drilling here.

Regards,
Ed.

My understanding is that Shorecan is a 50:50 venture with Shorecan holding 80% in Essar Exploration & Production (Nigeria) - a special purpose vehicle focused on OPL 226. Shorecan are also involved in opportunities in other parts of West Africa. That’s my understanding.

Breakdown: ShoreCan 80% of which Shoreline and COPL have 40% equal share, which leaves 20% to Essar.
But it could all change on the deal that Arthur strikes with SPA.

Hi Jamie- Essar are not shareholders in Shorecan as far as I know. Shorecan is a JV between shoreline and COPL. It’s in the ownership of OPL 226 that your percentages apply. That’s my reading- of course I could be wrong.

Guys,

We're not a minority partner in shorecan. We've a 50:50 split with Shoreline. Shorecan have 80% of 226. Of course COPL are the much smaller company than either Shoreline or Essar but are not minor partner in 226.

Ed.

dave19w- yes sorry for getting percentages wrong. While we are a JV- one part is in a stronger position in terms of nationality, connections, financial clout etc. Obviously if exercised well such a connection could be great for COPL but dependsI suppose on relationships etc.

COPL might be under pressure to keep stum on the key issues. Who knows but while a 50:50 venture we are the ‘smaller part’. So COPL have to play a waiting game.

Hi SMCL that was why I asked. I thought somehow I had missed a trick on the JV percentages there. It is equal. Lots to look forward to here if we can get some good news out before any placings etc. it does feel very close to being sorted now. I see why people are having less faith though. If my time frames are correct shoreline should have soon the service provider sorted. That’s a complicated deal so takes time. The annoying thing is the PB which actually maybe sorted but they haven’t told us. I can’t think why they wouldn’t. But when the share price crashed due to false rumors of licenses being revoked etc I was peeved that they didn’t issue an RNS to say it was rubbish. I have seen other companies squash rumors via RNS with good results. So why not us. It seems that copl feels they don’t need to play that game. Which maybe is confidence. Or perhaps arrogance.
