Jamie,

Yes true, the size of the last placing of around £500k did suggest things much be close as previously they'd raised enough for at least 6 months rather than about 6 weeks. I've been tempted to add more too but holding back at the moment. Wouldn't dream of selling any down here, but then I'm happy enough with the risk reward. Clearly the riskiest in my porty but upside for miles if Art secures the alt f let alone the PB.

Jamie,

Been to Africa a few times. Agree with you on speed with which things get done- even very basic things.

It’s obviously a truism but investments are risky- perhaps more risky here.

I’m mildly optimistic for reasons you state.

Anyway let’s see shortly.

I think they over estimate on when cash runs out just incase.
However I can’t see anything else but alternative finance, otherwise why such a small placing last time when he could have EASILY raised more.

interesting to see no late reported dump .. concidering they must be out of cash now , I dot see any forward selling into strength .... may be alt finance exists afterall.?

Not the worst day...bought some more this morning.I'm sure we have bottomed now on this retrace. Back up we go!I don't know if any of you have been to Africa before? Especially sub saharan Africa.Nothing gets done quickly! I'm still waiting for the beer I ordered and that was 5 years ago! Trying to get to drill an oil field :/ it's taken time! I don't believe for one minute that the Company are not doing all they can to get going.I believe patience shall be rewarded.

You never know on the right news, certainly will have legs as we're still only around £3m. Take ECO for example valued at £131m and pure exploration. The only advantage they have is funded for drilling with a 15% wi. Its all pure exploration whereas with COPL I'd count at least two of the compartments of NOA as appraisal, plus they've the advanced seismic analysis here like they used at OIL. So which one is likely to bag more on drilling and development (that's assuming ECO doesn't come up dry of course)? We're down this low because the market doesn't think its gonna happen here, Art just need to show differently. Should be easily £30-50m on approach to drilling (financing, rig contract, rig mob). Just down to Art now to get financing sorted and that PB.

I guess not as it would likely have happened before now. Most small companies do farmout, again ECO is down to 15% wi in their blocks and in with the much larger companies. We've a bit of that going on here too with Shoreline and Essar. But its certainly ambitious for a £3m company to be targeting 40% of a 253mmbbls (P50, part contingent). It'll be interesting to see what this next RNS contains for sure, we know its coming soon due to the financial situation and the last small placing. Hopefully it'll be the news we've all been waiting for to quote Art, once the PB is done they can start in earnest. If/when they start the development of 226 we'll not be sitting at £3m cap for too long. If they get all parts of this sorted and all 4 wells brought into early production as previously promised its likely to be mid cap. Clearly still a lot has to happen between now and TD of even the first well, but risk reward is still compelling. Its not like RKH with a 10 year odd development, if all goes to plan these four wells could still be in production by the end of 2020.

No probs Jamie. I was just wondering what happened to him. Understandable when nearly every post daily was from him. He’s gone and the BB is all the better for it.

So let’s hope for news soon- good news we hope.

With you seeming to want Harry/Nikki to turn up I jumped to the wrong conclusion and I do apologise.

I shall personally no longer entertain this nonsense especially from another poster who I shall take no notice from from now on.

Harry/Nikki shall be positing no more, he has had a telephone call from someone that has basically given him a very stern warning.....
