There are other leads & prospects identified. Exxon have the database to evaluate all their targets.

Lifted this off the VoxMarkets website, posted by Justin Wait

"Here are the questions I ask Arthur Millholland on today’s podcast which will be published before midday, here:

Why do you think seismic was so wrong?

Will you be drilling a second hole with Exxonmobil. What happens with the balance of Exxon’s $120M commitment?

How long will it take approximately for Exxonmobil to make a decision on whether to proceed with the second drill?

Will data from this drill be used to calibrate for a 2nd drill?

Will the directors use the very low share price as an opportunity to purchase shares?

Does COPL have funds in place to drill its well in Nigeria block OPL 226?"

More chance the BOD are buying at this level unless in a closed period as Exxon decide to announce their next drill.

gimmetheloot - of course I realise that directors have to announce sales - just make sure that you don't miss any announcement to that effect further down the line since as I said previously that was a sign of impending doom with Oilexco

Mr Key, offshore drilling costs are the lowest now than they have ever been. I have a friend in Canada who owns a oil company. This was a 25 day drill.

I think there's a lot of mug punters on here dealing with hope and not facts...

and I can tell you all, Mr K is a stickler for the facts.....tolerances like an interference fit.

Mr Key correct. Value of remaining commitment from Exxon to COPL is approx 80-100 million.

Bounty hunter, with all due respect directors have to announce if they dispose of any shares and so far they have not.

No doubt they will endorse the company by throwing more of their own money at it in the coming days besides why bail when you still have so much Exxon commitment left of approx 80 million. Would you throw in the towel at this stage?? It's like saying to Exxon we don't want the remaining 89 million commitment. Get real son !!

good question, along with many others got stung previously to be honest (fortunately not an unmanageable amount for me) - I had this on my watch list until I realised the connection - I am not shorting just genuinely warning you of the historical connection - if you still choose to invest then I wish you good luck as may be a good short term trade but don't take your eye of the ball - watch out for director sales - that was a good sign of impending doom with oilexco

What I don't understand is if you wouldn't touch these shares with a bargepole why are you here? Every thing has a price and 11m seems on the low side now.

How do you figure 80-100m (I assume $?) value in the Exxon deal?
