The operations to drive up production is due to start in 2 weeks. By the time we relish I expect the production rates could have doubled which would provide great support for new higher share price as would news from Nigeria before then too! Additionally what is Art going to use funding for? Expect increase in our Atomic WI to be confirmed too. Very exciting prospects for 2021!

The deal could of fallen through. Therefore the gamble has now paid off. Not as many posters like to take these risks now after their past experiences with Churchill and Oxus. Looking forward to the reward now.

Well let's hope the 6.20 RNS means that the deal is now done and dusted. It sound like it could take over a weekto sort out. I have my extra funds put aside for the increased possible margin requirement ready to deposit for if that margin call happens.

I am also in a no feeling state of mind frame, because of one life changing mistake I made with selling Petrel Resources at its lowest last year in January. I needed that 6k I would of made to short the Dow from 30k to 20k, and to pursue my obsession with making money from Pharma company's that where involved with Covid. I worked out I would of made over 1m that all started from a £500 deposit.

Yes I can refer to that. I have been wiped out many of times in my twenty's and thirty's using margin. I now doing a 2 grand max per holding strategy. Therefore if one lost 50 percent I still have half my pot left. I am adding the min deposit of £250 about 3 times a month. Therefore things should get safer in the future.

I just worked out that increasing my margin to 50 percent would require a deposit of £475. As I hold £5,000 per point. I think I can manage that since in 9 days I get paid, and I can borrow that in time. I decided to hold them since I needed to experience what happens in this situation, and for the reward. If I never knew in the future this situation could wipe me.

they can't settle whilst suspended (who would be the buyer for their sell?)...depends on your cash position, but generally they only close out other positions when your overall margin drops to 50%

Thanks for that. I guess that means my other positions maybe close out in order to support the margin if that happens, or say if I did not have any money or shares in my account then I guess ig would settle at the last closing price.

if the suspension is for a day or so then probably not. Note though that with EUA last year (suspended from Feb until July) the margin increased from 25% to 50%.

(there was also a significant short position from Jub capital in play there which might have affected this...but worth reading the Ts&Cs with regards their (IG's) rights to amend margin

I bought these on leverage with ig index, on the daily funding option. I assume that suspended shares do not require any additional margin.
