The guy just isn't content with acquiring large US reserves, but is still on the hunt for more. In Nigeria with Shoreline and other countries too, "actively pursing". Didn't he say in a recent interview that they were at an advanced stage with that West Africa EOR acquisition that they had been looking at for some time. Hmm. It'll likely be contingent and therefore cheap as its a mature field that's no longer in production as it requires gas injection. I wonder where these other countries are that they are actively pursuing opportunities? Will he return to his old hunting grounds in the NS? He did have a 75% strike rate back in the Oilexco days.

Since Atomic has an effective date of 1st Dec 2020 and the oil price is soaring ($44/bbl netbacks at $60/bbl approx) I bet he'll put that cash flow to good use.

The COPL temp suspension for the signing will mainly effect TSX trading hours not LSE as the finalisation is after LSE close of play today. WE Open up tomorrow over 1p+ Gla.

Hmm, I wonder will Art keep this one suspended long enough to consolidate the asset or will it be purely on Atomic. He's sure going into this suspension well prepared after raising around $30m since December ($8m recently paid from that to earn 15% of the assets). Also its potential that other news may drop during this period too, like possible Nigerian marginal/WA EOR project. Either way there's high potential that COPL will come back as a completely uncrecognisable oil gusher. 10mmcfd rates of gas injection due to commence 1st of April. I'm sure that most following this company will probably be fully loaded.
