08/1/2021 07:58 | That's now $12.2m raised by a small cap in support of this new acquisition. Art sure has no problems in getting his hands on equity that's for sure. Hopefully he's had as many offers for debt too! :) Amazing support to get his hands on this cash but it is backed by the Atomic deal $185m NAV at $39/bbl, well it isn't $39/bbl anymore, more like $50/bbl currently. He's just spent $8m of that $12m to secure first production and reserves here and he's not done yet by all accounts. Come on Art get the rest of that over the line and make us all lots of cash! Regards, Ed. | edgein
08/1/2021 07:53 | From CawCaw, a poster on the LSE: Interesting how positive people were about the pipe dreams/unicorn farts from Nigeria, which was and is: 5% interest in a well that might or might not get drilled by a partner that hates us and is trying to strangle us to death by every method fair and otherwise in a lease that is expired in a place where we don't know if there is marketable oil to begin with ^all of the above translated to "we are rich guys!" when we were at 4B shares on issue. Fast forward to 9.6B shares on issue and we own a profitable interesting a big fat field that is flowing into a pipeline onshore in America, paying fifty bucks a barrel with low costs comparatively. For the first time ever we have a P:E ratio because for the first time ever we have earnings. For the first time ever we have an asset, which is 15% of 186MM USD. Plus we still have exactly the same interest and chances in Nigeria as before. Yet people on here are crying foul. I would gladly choose today's situation (dilution and all) over our situation last summer, and last summer our market cap was similar??? | asm5
08/1/2021 07:25 | Another one bites the dust | daar
06/1/2021 09:44 | Better today. Should continue into end of month | smackeraim
06/1/2021 08:20 | Nice price increase in oil overnight. OPEC working in tandem. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
06/1/2021 07:44 | And do you want to know why old Ed is interested in the USA assets, the west African EOR and 226? Because COPL are capped at circa £17m with $8m+ in the bank and could be mid cap if all the above completes. Not without risk of course but compelling upside. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/1/2021 07:39 | "For an oil asset that is worthless." You'll find that 31mmboe of mainly liquids has an NAV of $185m at $39/bbl and net backs over $20/bbl. WTI has since risen to about $50/bbl and keeps rising recently. So who is the one with the misinformation? :) Conventional non-shale oil production onshore USA is highly profitable at $50/bbl on pretty much all light oil fields. These assets are stacked sandstone reservoirs. With the rising oil price it'll certainly strengthen Art's hand in securing the debt for these game changer assets. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/1/2021 07:32 | IAWT, No not really, did you realise that 5m shares at 0.05p is only £2.5k, 10m just £5k? I've an 8 figure holding and yes it did cost many thousands, but its still not my biggest holding by value. But don't worry I'm a former EUA holder from a 0.37p average, I can easily afford it. :) I'm among a few here that's had faith that Art will bring home the bacon, even when the share price was 0.035p there was no NT to buy back then with the amount of capitulators there were about. Whether you believe me or not its of little consequence, I'm more interested in what happens with the USA asset, the west African EOR asset and 226. Great to see the recent support for the company as they got their hands on $8m quite quickly and easily from a few phone calls from Art, exciting times ahead. Regards, Ed. | edgein |
