Asm,

Definitely, sounds like they've done as much as they can do with zoom etc. Next stage is to get all parties together from the consortium to meet face to face with the top brass of both NNPC and DPR. Interesting times ahead for sure.

Regards,
Ed.

Thanks ED.

Very positive interview overall. Glad to hear that majority of the work is done so once signed we should move pretty quickly to drilling which should be cheaper than a year ago!

Plang,

Because short-termers see this as a delay, even though its not. There wasn't a deadline given once they passed 29th Sept. Now we do have a new deadline. But the way it was stated was interesting. Face to face meetings required to progress the licence. But Art said again "Once" not if or maybe or possibly, but once the extension is granted. He's still confident that its only a matter of time from that latest RNS. That's more than good enough for old Ed as I'm here to the wells are drilled. There are other issues going on in Nigeria right now too. A little ironic that they protest against an anti-robbery squad by looting, that's lefties for you I guess.

Regards,
Ed.

Yep. Does seem positive in the long run. Not sure why the big sell off first thing apart from day traders wanting to bag overnight. Could reason to top up now

Hmmm, interesting news, sound like the final stage is face to face meetings to get this over the line. Then forward schedule for 226 can be announced. Clearly Essar and COPL in mutual agreement. Come on Nigeria get those borders open and this thing signed off.

Regards,
Ed.

you don't want to be buying in bulk when the RNS does land, next to no chance of buying anything but small amounts without NT

Yes agree something definitely going on. share price has shot up. That what I say when it drops as well. Let’s hope the PSC news comes in tomorrow.

certainly does look a cheap entry price (provided no disaster with licence extension). may have to wait for Africa time to complete but should double bag from this level

No one likes to see the share price drift in the absence of news. But imho it's just a matter of being patient. There is a persistent seller who is knocking the share price down so if you can take advantage then this is a great opportunity to load up.

there is a persistent seller, no idea where his line of stock is coming from, I think we will see more red days the longer we don't get the licence extension

Much prefer these small daily rises that stick than any short lived spikes. Every man and his dog knows the expected news is close so no surprise to see positions being taken. Same again tomorrow methinks
