Asm5,

Good man, good price now that the short termers have moved on. Art has now dealt with the traders by removing the 30th Sept deadline. Its now up to the NNPC et al to get things moving with the licence and provide a definitive list of which companies have been successful in the 2020 bid round.

Regards,
Ed.

You must be mental. If you sold millions of these you'd never get them back again. Most of the time these go NT and try getting back in if the pending licence or acquisition news lands. Only small time punters are worried about the current price, I'm more interested in where it will be after they drill the fifth well into Noa.

Regards,
Ed.

Its just a delay out of their control. All down to the Nigerian govt to sort itself out and get its act together!!!!! No one seens to be selling at all so this I reckon is as low as it gets unless the markets go into free fall!!!!

NNPC need the likes of Essar/Shoreline to bring in the money they so desperately need. Give it 2 weeks, a month or possibly longer the PSC will be signed.

Today's sellers if they are not traders are just short term PI's.

Interesting that its shoreline that are applying for the extension rather than Essar. Shoreline will be on good terms with the Nigerians as they operate another large block in Nigeria. Looks like its just a matter of time now, hopefully early Q4. What about the bid round Art?

"The Nigerian Affiliate applied for this extension in early June 2020 and has subsequently held a number of constructive meetings with the NNPC post application.

COPL is confident that it will receive confirmation of its exploration licence extension during Q4 2020. No notice of termination has been received by COPL's Nigerian Affiliate, which under the terms of the PSC would need to be issued sixty days before the 30(th) September 2020 expiry date. The two previous extensions to the drilling license at OPL 226 were received by the Nigerian Affiliate post the previous expiration dates."

At least he's keeping us updated.

Regards,
Ed.
