Asked the Q/ with a m8 of mine. This was his reply ----------->

Why do you think they would have to rns a rig contract? Quite simply they wouldn't. There is only a need to rns when the well is spudded, which it isn't yet - hence no rns. Yet.

There is no Rig Contract, if there was Exxon would have to tell COPL, and COPL
would then have to release an RNS

Or maybe, there is a rig floating round Africa, with a crew, with nothing to do,
& they will pop in & drill our hole...after all Exxon like o keep a low profile

I take your point from the comment you made to me last night, and I apologise for any offence. It's getting increasingly difficult to know who is for real on these boards, and wo is here just to cause trouble. But point taken, everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, at least for now.
On that basis, could you explain something please? You say there is no rig contract but how do you/ would you know? I'm sure the contract is not something that would be realeased in an rns. Surely the first we can expect to hear is that a rig is on site and the well has spudded? And as far as we know that news is likely to be released very shortly, or do you know otherwise, in which case I would be interested to know where you get your information from?

The rig has got to be moving close by now. Will Exxon RNS this news? Can see 15p before Xmas so 50% upside in short time once spudded IMO.

A couple of weeks ago and Shore Cap upgraded its target to 21p.

Now 2 weeks closer to the spud and an opportunity to buy in on the dip.
