19/6/2024 10:39 | What RNS are you expecting re the Aussies - an increase or decrease in stake ? | levinson1
19/6/2024 09:54 | "7,000 bought at 172.5pAwaiting the Aussie holdings RNS still"£12k trade and it's the Aussies!, sounds like you and Levinson are clutching at straws. | disc0dave46
18/6/2024 15:30 | Justice for the many - do you think the Aussies are still buying ? | levinson1
18/6/2024 15:13 | 7,000 bought at 172.5p Awaiting the Aussie holdings RNS still | justiceforthemany
16/6/2024 23:11 | Well spotted Sid B- the podcast makes me very happy to be a CBOX shareholder. Excitement ahead | levinson1
15/6/2024 09:52 | Listen to chess capital on this podcast who have a decent holding in Cake Box h t tps://open.spotify.c | sid_b
14/6/2024 20:08 | I am.I think there will be some international expansion soon. A big buyer was out there today. Wonder whether it was the Aussies? Volume for today c 2.2m shares. | levinson1
14/6/2024 17:14 | I feel for Sukh. He has built a fabulous family business. Opening 20+ stores and growing EPS by 10% p.a. would have been great outcome for the family owners. Now, nobody is satisfied with the growth. They said that they are aiming 20-24 new stores per year i.e. new store growth will soon go below 10%. Feels like hugely under-achieving their growth potential. Maybe the market will be kinder to them if they position their company as a dividend stock rather than a growth stock (unless they can find growth from somewhere)... | sid_b
14/6/2024 17:08 | Hey Levinson where do you see those bids? Are you on a trading platform? | sid_b
14/6/2024 12:53 | Another 300,000 bought. Something imo definitely going on | levinson1
14/6/2024 11:14 | Yes - a market maker came on bidding me 171p for volume but I declined ; so definitely a big buyer out there | levinson1
14/6/2024 11:07 | Are they buys though? Mid price | johndoe23
14/6/2024 10:53 | 760,000 shares in CBOX just bought. Happy days | levinson1
14/6/2024 08:56 | Then again the Australians may not be adding to their stake any time soon if at all, pure speculation. They don't generate or have enough cash IMO to have any meaningful BB programme. Even c £3.5m would only increase eps by c 5% but at least it's then in double figures which should follow through with a higher rating.....but can they afford a BB?, working cap will be increasing. Given kiosks are failing and online seems to be growing then additional marketing costs will be required to sustain the online growth (look at how much pure e.commerce businesses have to outlay on marketing). A BB would definitely be a positive but I'm not convinced they will have the cash to make it worthwhile or the conviction to actually do it - came across as a carrot for the market rather than they are actually planning to do it. | disc0dave46
13/6/2024 23:03 | What you say about the Aussies buying soon is consistent with Sukh doing a buy back to push up the ante . Looks like v good times for the shareholders on either or both scenarios.Buy back - bring it on | levinson1
13/6/2024 22:48 | The Australians may add to their stake soon. Markets trashed this week, short sellers will likely get burnt badly next week. UK CPI will be 1.8 or 1.9% IMO and if so, Bailey likely to cut the next day. Market needs to broaden. Ridiculously concentrated on semis and mega tech | justiceforthemany
13/6/2024 21:41 | Yes I agree that they were non-committal on buybacks, expansion and other things. But I can understand if a public company won't like to make firm statements in such calls without first publishing an RNS. I thought that sukh was a bit grumpy today, interrupted the CFO a couple of times, and also felt he was shooting from the hips like in case of vegans... Very unlike Sukh and also doesn't look good on a public company's CEO. May be the analysts gave him a hard time in their call. | sid_b
13/6/2024 19:59 | Share buyback…..Yep the only way they can improve eps growth. They seemed to be saying they are keeping powder dry and BB’s could be something they’d consider in the future but didn’t come across to me as anything has been planned - just like their comment about overseas, yes we are looking at that (just like they have been since listing!). They aren’t exactly rolling in cash or increasing FCF generation in order to move the dial in terms of buybacks plus they didn’t provide any ciarity around this new warehouse in Bradford they are planning to help service Scotland / Ireland growth, which is likely to cost a few million. Loved the CEO’s / Sukh’s comments on vegans and their new vegan range - “Vegans they talk a lot but don’t buy a lot!”… | disc0dave46
13/6/2024 18:20 | Ridiculously low UT today BTW. | justiceforthemany
13/6/2024 18:19 | Share buy back to commence within weeks then? The share volumes are so low that the share price would move dramatically upwards when commenced. | justiceforthemany
13/6/2024 17:40 | Presentation was excellent. They said they were will be hearing about a share buy back in the near future. They know best how undervalued these shares are. Growth prospects sounded exciting to and share buy back says it all | levinson1 |
