Ash is king remember that, all this rubbish abiut cash dwindling away, not the amount Capricorn have, that would be jealous Tullow shareholders trying to make you believe they hype, just invest into The North Sea and watch that cash pile grow, forget Africa that’s been done, it’s too corrupt there, lol at what has owned to Afren, let’s get CNE drilling for Has with Deltic Energy for Gas, maybe even take Deltic out completely and be in bed with Shell a super major, nit a debt ridden company like Tullow, if oil drops, Tullow are toast again, CNE will still have their cash and be able to buy Tullow out on the cheap!

THE TLW MERGER IS DEAD, WHICH IS GOOD NEWS FOR CNE AND BAD NEWS FOR TLW, BUT BOTH SHARES ARE RISING, SO MAYBE CNE ARE PLANNING TO TURN THE TABLES WITH A 1-FOR-5 ALL-SHARE OFFER FOR TLW BECAUSE THIS MAY JUST RECEIVE THE REQUIRED 75% THRESHOLD FROM BOTH SETS OF SHAREHOLDERS? NEXT RESISTANCE LEVEL 300P!

I have seen no mention here of the news going around that Tullow is likely to get a big windfall of cash for there Kenya holding. This will decrease their debt to and still keep their production.
The share will probably jump.
We all know that the amount of buying and selling by the big players is manipulating both shares and the true situation will only come out when the companies get the approvals they need.
There have been no comments on the developments in Egypt or anu other news recently so we need to see what happens.
These companies are as bad as politicians - "I am definitely against" means "I may change my mind"

If all of these major shareholders have declared against the merger why on earth is it taking so long for the board to revoke their recommendation and review their position? It is plain that the merger cannot succeed!

Silverstone, who are the holders of this 27%? I know Palliser hold 5.7% and BofA hold 3.3% but who are the holders of the additional 18% that have publicly declared against the TLW merger?

It is a little concerning that BofA/ Merrell Lynch are still selling down their holding in CNE. At one point they were above 20% when they publicly announced their objection to the merger, they have just reduced their holding from above 5.5% to 3.3%. Palliser hold 5%. There has as yet been no response from the CNE board regarding the Palliser report. Perhaps the board are still convinced that they can garner enough votes to push the merger through despite shareholder objections?
