02/6/2015 11:00 | This was a lifestyle flotation for the Directors. Raise a load of money. Buy some dodgy assets in a remote troubled region, promising huge returns to investors. Stall and do nothing blaming everything under the sun for slow/negligible progress. Draw nice fat Director salaries for holding meetings every once in a while. Oh, and throw in some all expenses paid holidays as part of the package too. Nice work if you can get it. | billy_liar
02/6/2015 10:31 | Had a look at the accounts, big names at the top with obvious connections. Drilling history appears lame. I would like to see some direction. Cutting overheads is good but still far too top heavy. imho | targatarga
15/5/2015 13:03 | Read the annual report, then come back and ask a sensible and informed question. | huffster
15/5/2015 12:16 | Have the Directors frittered away all of the money yet? Nice work if you can get it. | billy_liar

11/5/2015 10:23 | if you look at what they wrote off in the results and the lump sum received from litigation what does that tell you! | targatarga
11/5/2015 10:18 | A holding notice should appear soon. Damille Investments Ltd. (Investment Management) who had 16,112,866 shares, are no longer showing on the FT top 10 holders list. So their holding as at 1st May 2015 is zero. Half probably went to: Monte Leone Special Situations Fund Ltd and Azure Arbitrage Fund Ltd who as of 25-03-2015 own 8,820,000 shares? With the rest going to: Credit Suisse Securities Europe Ltd. (Market-Maker), who have still have 9.63 m shares and have probably been offloading them onto the market? | stonefold
30/4/2015 22:36 | Volume still up and detailed report. Doesn't feel like a co. about to be taken private. | waveneygnome
23/4/2015 20:18 | volume up and the price held at 8.5p...... fishy | targatarga
19/3/2015 09:29 | Nine weeks without a post. Change of company secretary feels odd. Being worked for a cheap bid? | targatarga
13/1/2015 11:16 | perhaps they're about to buy us out cheap! | targatarga
13/1/2015 10:22 | Familiar disappointment... Why did they not delay the drill and give ourselves an OPTIMAL location given this piece of information. Seems like a clear error of judgement. "the results suggest that the level B1, where the biggest DHI and AVO anomaly was highlighted, was not encountered due to the sub-optimal well surface location(driven by logistics due to temporary moratorium on industrial uses of agricultural areas)" | huffster
18/12/2014 09:46 | news from the drillhead pre christmas? | targatarga
03/12/2014 13:00 | little bit of speculative buying ahead of this which should have spudded this week? It would be nice to have some luck / exceed expectations etc but then I remind myself that this is Cadogan. ... in Debeslavetska, the Company is pleased to report that a fourth drillable prospect, comprising 3 different levels down to a depth of approximately 350m, has since been identified. This fourth prospect has now been selected for drilling to commence at the end of September. Drilling is expected to take up to 10 days followed by testing and eventual completion approximately 3 weeks thereafter. Expected producible resources for this new prospect are in the range of 4 billion cubic feet. | huffster
02/12/2014 15:56 | last few days we've had decent volume. Free float dried up? | targatarga
01/12/2014 13:23 | I'm averaged around 24p that might be optimistic unless we get some hussle! | lukethefool
21/11/2014 09:11 | Wonder will I ever see my 45p average here ? | burkedavid
21/11/2014 08:09 | Positive outlook in the IMS. | waveneygnome

17/10/2014 09:58 | Pleased to see some gas import trading activity going on. 17-10-2014 "... The second trader-Astroinvest Ukraine-belongs to the British gazodobytciku Cadogan Petroleum. "Astroinvest acquired gas in Europe in the past year. This month the company imports gas to the border with Slovakia on -335 $ 330 per thousand cubic meters, "said an official in the Ministry. Seller of fuel is a Swiss trader Worldenergy SA. ..." | stonefold
15/10/2014 17:08 | The drop is not CAD specific. News is possibly due on Pirk 1 - the long work-over was due to finish by the end of September. But they will probably wait until November before updating with news- to include the spudding of the Deb well. And whether they have remembered to renew licences. Cash at 14p per share for shares on offer below 10p | stonefold
15/10/2014 11:43 | getting bad vibes here.... | targatarga
09/10/2014 16:56 | Interesting to see that 3 Legs is being liquidated, this probably should have been done here as well! | 911man
09/10/2014 15:28 | Looking at the volume on the interactive chart (java) There had been a nice uptick in large evening trades for the few days near the beginning of Aug totalling approx. 3 million shares. Then again for beginning of Sept totalling approx. 3 million. Hasn't happened for Oct though ;-( ==================== Tomorrow is 10 years since Cadogan was founded 10-10-2004 | stonefold
