Good to see a start with the rebuilding of value. Small, cautious and within their comfort zone.

As both the CEO and COO are Italian this eliminates one level of risk.

The whole of this region would have been previously studied by ENI.

Two directors from CAD and two from Exploenergy Srl used to work for ENI so perhaps they have a fair understanding/confidence of any old seismic data.

Possibly the target company is:


The website lists three licences in the Po valley.
Not sure if any of those are the two licences CAD are interested in.

Very early stages in the exploration cycle, so hopefully not too expensive.
Exploration Licences might not get issued, and if targets eventually get drilled might be dusters, but if successful would be well situated for existing pipeline and high local demand for gas.

Hi wavey. I bought these with an average of around 34 pence and the big red blob in my portfolio haunts me every time I open my account. The share price appears to be drifting downwards at the moment. This is still in my watch list so if it starts upward movement with real reason behind it then I may pop back in.I've been fortunate in that the company I invested these proceeds into is going upwards so that eases my decision somewhat.

After reviewing my portfolio I have decided to sell my holdings in CAD. Whilst I see potential value here I see much better risk rewards elsewhere. I wish all those left with my best wishes.

This is the beginning of a confidence building period during which the share price will rise gradually. If a T/O bid was to come in prior to proving the first two wells it would fall way short of a realistic offer. I feel sure the BOD would advise against selling till much nearer that goal......a bidding war at that point would be nice ;)Monarch

View Thread (3)Exciting timesTue 17:57This share will be one of the most exciting stocks over the next couple of months. So much to look forward to and still the potential of a T/O at any time. I really like that Colin has mentioned a plan for after 1st gas in the interview which indicates that he would be also happy to go this alone. That just shows how far they have come and that they will not sell this for cheap! Exciting times!

Cadogan Petroleum including Astro-Service will be attending, promoting their various oil and gas trading and drilling related service businesses in Ukraine.

Following the signing early this month of law no. 3617, it will come into force on 1 November.
This will benefit producers and traders who will now only have to allow 10% for insurance stock (rather than 50%).
Thus freeing up capital.
