I indicated the surface location of the Blazh-10 & Blazh-21 wells, not the target of the bottomhole.

I confirm the wells are directional/deviated.

Now we have some informations and details about cadogan's future plans in the E&P segment.

Are they the surface locations or the target bottomhole locations? My guess is surface, but if this is the case, the bottomhole locations may be further apart because each well is deviated to one side.

I guess they drill deviated wells because they need a relatively flat piece of land (or one that can be easily flattened) for the rig

The time line is interesting, though disappointing, cos unless they start soon, we won't hear anything before Christmas

'1.3 Description of the main characteristics of the planned activity

The object of the planned activity is the construction of a reconnaissance well No 21-Blazhi.
According to the current legislation, for the drilling of wells, a plot of land should be allocated for a drilling rig, which should have an area sufficient for the location of drilling equipment, private buildings, office and household premises, and so on. taking into account environmental, sanitary, fire requirements.
Well construction is carried out on the land plots provided for the temporary use of LLC YUSENKO NADRA in accordance with the agreements (Annex G), concluded in accordance with the provisions of Article 97 of the Land Code of Ukraine.
The technology of preparation and execution of works on the construction of a well provides that the drilling rig should be free of vegetation and green plantations. In case of the necessity of releasing a plot of land that is to be allocated to a drilling rig, from the vegetation or green plantations, the entity is obliged to compensate the owners of land and land users for all losses, including income foregone, as well as at their own expense to bring the occupied plots of land in the previous state.

Duration of the construction cycle of the well is 97.4 days and
including:
- Construction and installation work of 10.0 days
- preparatory work for drilling of 5,5 days
- drilling and fastening 57,2 days
- testing (development) 19.8 days
- montage work 5,0 days

The organization of the process of construction and direct construction of the well No 21-Blazhi will be carried out on a bezambarnym way,

in accordance with the requirements of СОУ;73.1-41-11.00.01: 2005 "Environmental measures during the construction of wells for oil and gas", clause D.1.2.1.

Drilling and testing of wells will be carried out by a drill rig IRI-1200 with a diesel electric drive (diesel generators produce electricity used for electric motors of power and auxiliary equipment).'

This should be the time-line of the preparatory, drilling and testing activities of the Blazh-21 well (sidetrack of the existing Blazh-2 well).

Based on this, imho, now we know:

1) the future "planned" drilling activities are related to sidetrack (from 1.780 mts) of the Blazh-2 well, located in the same area of the Blazh-10 well (recently drilled, production 275 Bopd on natural flow);

2) Blazh-21 well will be an Oil producer, not an injector well;

3) the time-line of the activities will be approximately 100 days (3 months);

4) Blazh-21 well Total Depth target 3.270-3.300 mts;

5) Infill drilling and good geological chance of success (based on Blazh-10 well Oil production);

6) maybe Cadogan could also test potential of the Bystrycia formation (2.700 mts) if the interpretation of the logs and/or Cores taken from Bystrycia formation should confirm Oil bearing.
('The interpretation of the logs has also identified another 15 meters of potential net pay at 2700 meters depth in the Bystrycia formation. This potential pay zone will not be tested as the well has been completed as a Yamna producer.' - Cadogan's Blazh-10 Well Update 25/04/2019);

what we doesn't know... if and when Cadogan will start the activities related to the Blazh-21 well.

I wish Cadogan will start drilling activities as soon as possible.

Based on slide 9 of the 2017 presentation, sidetracking 200m laterally NE from the current Blazh 2 well will result in them either going up-dip by 50-100m, or potentially penetrate what's shown as an undrilled fault block (though the map doesn't show Blazh-10 location, which might be in this area).

So, although it says "reconnaissance well", if it's updip and/or into a new, higher, field area, it would be a producer.

In administrative terms, the area of ​​well construction is located outside the settlement on the territory of the Strassevytsya village council of the Trans-Sambir Region in the Lviv region. The Blazhivsky oil field is located within the limits of the Monastic license area, which geologically belongs to the joining of the Skibovaya zone of the Ukrainian Carpathians and the Boryslav-Pokutsky Inner zone of the Carpathian Pre-Carpathians.

The well 21 of Blazhi is laid (perturbed) in the form of a sidewall with a deviation in the north-easterly direction with a departure of 200 m from the vertical from the liquidated well 2-Blazhi.
The inoculation of the lateral trunk is carried out from a depth of 1780 m.
The well No. 2-Blazhi has been eliminated for geological reasons.

I tried to translate and read the documents, Imho it's clear that Cadogan Petroleum will make a sidetrack of the existing 2-Blazh well from a depth of 1.780 mts - Target Depth 3.270-3.300 mts. (in line with Blazh-10 well)

1. Suspend the contracts for the lease of land plots from the "ASTROINVEST -UKRAINA" land plots to the state owned land plots for the placement and equipment of the UKPG located outside the settlements of the Udovychenka village council of Zinkivsky district of the Poltava region, namely: an area of ​​1,1401 hectares (cadastral number 5321386900: 00: 002: 0082) with an area of ​​0.1800 hectares (cadastral number 5321386900: 00: 002: 0083) with an area of ​​0.1550 hectares (cadastral number 5321386900: 00: 002: 0084).
2. Recommend ASTROINVEST -UKRAINA LLC to take measures related to the state registration of the termination of the right to use land plots specified in paragraph 1 of the order.
3. To provide LLC "KZR PETROLEUM" in the lease of land specified in paragraph 1 of the order by the term of 15years.
4. Legal department of the OSA apparatus to ensure the conclusion of land lease agreements with LLC "KZR PETROLLUM".

'The nine blocks that were opened for PSA tenders in February 2019 have received 22 bids from 13 companies.

Included in these bids are Canadian company Vermilion Energy, state-owned UGV, U.S. private equity firm Sigma Bleyzer, Texas-based producer Aspect Energy, and Slovak E&P company Nafta, backed by sizable European energy holding EPH.

Sofiivska parcel is pointed as the most interesting, nominated by 5 companies (UGV/Vermilion, EPH, DTEK O&G, GeoAlliance, Ukrnafta).

The company that has made the most bids is UGV, with 9 applications, 5 single and 4 joined with Vermilion Energy. In addition, four Ukrainian producers made 2 bids each (UNB, Ukrnafta, DTEK, Zakhidnadraservice). Also, one bid was pointed by each U.S. Sigma/Aspect, Czech EPH, and Ukrainian companies GeoAlliance, Navigator Komplekt and EuroGas Ukraine.

The Intergovernmental Commission has to evaluate the bids within one month and make its recommendations to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to select the winner.'

buy data/informations about geological model developed by Cadogan and drilled wells in the past;
