You're absolutely right Kinwah, I took a punt of CAB last December, I would have been better off topping up my investment in another O&G share. I've certainly learned a lesson here.

The choice now for investors is to sell or stay in for a long-term ride. I always reckon on having to hold for at least 10 years after a delisting. There will be matched dealings of sorts on Asset Match but that is not easy even for experienced investors. I've had a couple of delisted stocks come good this year after around 10 years of holding patiently but there must be better oil shares to hold than CAB.

The simple fact is they dont give a damn about shareholders, they are purely there to pay their salaries.

Why it has taken them so long I will never know. Same old, "other people's money" being wasted to provide a few people with salaries for a few extra months.

...And it was the NOMAD that waved through the 'whitewash' to create the conditions where H2P could do this. I feel like the company has been taken from under our noses for peanuts.

I do hope Mr Redmayne will be at the EGM and explain why he thinks the whitewash was a good idea.

Delisting announced as predicted earlier this year. What is shocking is that the company reckons it can save up to $1 million a year on transaction and admin costs. What have they been spending money on? You can get a Nomad and broker for £50k a year retainer. Maybe they need to use cheaper lawyers. Anyway the shares will be top of the losers board today unless another corporate disaster beats them to it.

That's Cabot O&G in the US not Cabot Energy. Why on earth would you think the norwegian sovereign wealth fund would hold tat like CAB?

Not a chance, the liabilities are only increasing due to federal environmental law changes. While the Netherlands wasnt a bed of roses it was so much better than Canada. Look at what Vermillion managed with the old NOP acreage.

I wonder if the company will ever become cash positive? Seems like the Canadian asset is a liability. Do better to sell it and get involved with a real profit making asset. This is going downhill. Only savior would be Italian asset which is suspended.

I thought that Scott was a co-founder of High Power Petroleum (H2P) along with the CFO & the CTO. When I look back at the March 2019 Open Offer, H2P invested c. 2 million out of 2.530 million raised. Since March 2019, H2P have invested additional capital in order to keep Cabot Energy solvent.

Following today's RNS, H2P owns 72.21% of outstanding CAB shares.
