With a chart like that this must be a Professor Pettigrew share, one that he bought in May last year.

Just observing like.

Because they couldn't raise any money anywhere else as no-one else believed the Canada story! Oh and Italy was never going to happen this side of 2025.

Can someone please remind me..How did H2P get to own 56% of Cabot?

Keith? Nick? Are you out there? How did it happen?

The spread wouldn't help.
0.1p bid 0.2p offer at one point.
Now 0.2p - 0.4p.

Italian assets were always a company changer on the proviso that all was easy with Italian regulators and the cash was available, sadly those in the know understood that Italy is not an easy place for O&G companies unless you're ENI or Shell Italia and that the recoverables were not exactly great unless barrel price was over $100 and the less we say about the cash position the better. So much for the well connected guy taken on to deal with Italy! Looking forward to hearing the excuses for the overspend in Canada.

Maybe the decision to bin Netherlands for Canada after so much success for Vermilion was a massive screw up (as warned by so many inside NOP at the time)!

BTW, they snuck some news in about suspension of exploration activity in Italy for 18 months.

A good day to bury bad news!

None of the money raised will be going into the ground. Its all for paying off creditors (can anyone enlighten me as to who they are?); legal fees, corporate expenses, deferred salaries..

All the time it feels like a slow march to H2P takeover of CAB/NOP for peanuts.

Oh for the days when the NOP share price was north of 2 pounds...!
