As a former holder here I don't need any effort, the current management are doing an excellent job. Still, at least I'm NOT a running commentary of this share each day

Surely you can do better than that.

2/10 for effort

After the debacle here, is it any wonder.

Great to see some pay back for the spivvvs.

Wouldn't shock me if there was another bid at this level.

Buffett said dont be scared to lose 50%. Well I'm down near that. Expecting to hear poor currency trading again but then 2024 over and 2025 reset and growth. I'll follow the smart money Ann Cairns, 291000 recently buy at 73p.Ps Simply wall street DCF is 2.14 ....just sayin

Quote from Ann Cairns some 16 months ago.

“ 21 Aug 2024 — CAB Payments chairwoman Ann Cairns: We'll bounce back from our float flop.”

Even though she bought shares surely she has to go .

£146m market cap now.

Getting very silly.

BOD’s lack of comms is a disgrace.

Should be shot

Not saying we need a placing as I don’t know the inside track but the daily moves down with no buying from the city spivvs indicates a placing is due.

Forward metrics look positive and we all agree new European licence , new USA licence new MENA licence, new visa deal , new FX derivatives all sound encouraging and positive but seen it so often before where the city doesn’t buy the stock as they have the inside knowledge a placing is coming . Hope I’m wrong but fear I’m not.

Equals Group PLC reported on Wednesday it had agreed to a £283 million takeover by Alakazam Holdings Bidco Ltd.

The London-based fintech company and payment platform developer expects the deal to close during the second-quarter of 2025.

Alakazam is a London-based investor consortium whose owners include Towerbrook Capital Partners UK LLP, JC Flowers & Co UK LLP and shareholders of Railsr, the trading name for Embedded Finance Ltd.

Alakazam will purchase Equals for 140 pence per share. Equals said this was ‘fair and reasonable’ and that Equals’ directors intend to recommend the offer.

The takeover comprises of a cash consideration of 135p, plus a 5p dividend per Equals share.

£156m market cap.

No one find it strange that absolutely no one from the city is buying as we all thinks it’s very cheap at this price.
Especially if the market is meant to be a forward looking metric.

Only conclusion is a placing on the way.

Just like when the price was falling during the bid process and people thought the bid was still going to happen , it’s the same here now.

No price increase on any day in 5/6 weeks now . It’s cheap on a lot of metrics and wildly over sold on all known charts and yet we move lower most days. Only conclusion is placing on the way.

Hang on. Chairperson and independent non Exec spent 400k on shares Stop fretting about day movements. It could.go much lower or higher. Build your stake if you believe in the long term value. I do and keep adding.
