04/4/2024 13:56 | It appears that unlisted shares cannot be held in a SIPP or ISA which means if you want to keep them, you will need to get them in certificate form and this will probably incur a charge - seems unfair. I have asked asset match for a list of brokers that use their platform. Because of the hassle, I will vote against delisting. | davemac3
04/4/2024 11:02 | Nigelpm, I will also write to the firm with my thoughts over the weekend... | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 11:01 | How is anyone voting ? Some coincidence but if you add up all these large sells it just about comes to the holding of the one ITs investing here - so if them (assumption I know), they are massively losing out here too ? Not just PIs.... | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 10:51 | I thought this was the best spread bet ever. It was just lucky my financial situation was not strong at the time and I lost 3 grand which was a lot less than it could of been. | luckyabbeygale
04/4/2024 10:48 | Has anyone spoken to the company - I'm going to give them a call and offer my thoughts. | nigelpm
04/4/2024 08:42 | The big shareholders must think delisting is worthwhile, it’s just the small ones that are getting shafted | davemac3
02/4/2024 18:03 | crikey, if they keep the pace of share price reductions at today's rate for the rest of this week 5p may come after all...I may actually top up at that point :) dyor etc Dear CEO, what have you done.... | takeiteasy
02/4/2024 09:09 | now valued at 22m less than net asset value and meaning potentially all IP, contracts and future royalties valued at zero.... | takeiteasy
02/4/2024 08:20 | and following on from what you are saying they wiill no doubt squeeze the last of the forced sellers down to whatever price it takes (who knows 7/6/5 they can make up any number they want) - i can stay in my SIPP for 5 years if needs be so to sell at 8p which is about 15% of analyst suggested value is beyond the pail as they say !no advice intended etc | takeiteasy
29/3/2024 15:18 | Watched these for a while even had a small trade but sold due to the lack of movement. Split always seemed wrong and after the news I wouldn't be surprised if the larger holders weren't selling a few to suppress the price so as to bring this excuse about. Likely relist at some point in the future once they've had a few more payouts from their pharma partners for ten times the level seen today. | bad gateway
29/3/2024 10:09 | Sad state of affairs all round here. The shares are likely to contour to fall as people exit for various reasons now and there won't be anyone buying. The aim. Listing excuse is BS imo they have load sod cash and aren't struggling so the costs are peanuts tbh. This is more a management takoit on the cheap imo. Stinks | bones698
28/3/2024 01:47 | London has lost its Global financial status and a lot of credibility. Who wants to list in London now, bigger fish will list abroad. As for AIM that should be closed down imo full of badly run Companies, with so many shareholder wipe outs each year | ny boy
27/3/2024 21:03 | in the scheme of things tiny levels of trading imvho and so many are hanging fire atm it seems from this data - may all change tomorrow - i would be delighted if they failed to get 76% votes and we carry on as we now have some decent financials behind us - so either way looks good to me anything except near term sale of sharesno advice for others etc | takeiteasy
27/3/2024 20:49 | >>>>take So I very much am prepared to trust our largest holder if he supports this being the best way to get a decent return My thoughts exactly | timbo003
27/3/2024 20:47 | >>>>luck "Best option will be to short these since could be 0p when they delisted." I suspect that if you were to go short and the company delists, the counterparty to your spreadbet would want you to deliver the shares when the bet expires. Not an easy task if they are delisted, although I note that the RNS states that the directors intend to set up a matched bargain facility following delisting, if they do, you would have to wait for a willing seller to come along before you could buy shares and the offer price then could be quite a bit higher than it is now 😮 | timbo003
27/3/2024 14:39 | Given we are at c.20% of the market value put forward by the broker researh note and the management themselves are suggesting the value should be much higher, I suspect that when the forced ISA sellers are out they may need to pay somewhat more for those who have the option to stay put in a SIPP - let's see what happens over the next few weeks. Some of us have experience of a something similar with another baby biotech where the largest owner here was also the largest owner there - slightly different circumstances in that case it was a move to ADR USA status and so again ISA holders were forced out but not SIPP holders - we have been well rewarded SIPP holders for hanging on. So I very much am prepared to trust our largest holder if he supports this being the best way to get a decent return. This is not advice for anyone else of course- just my own thoughts. | takeiteasy
27/3/2024 10:59 | I could of had £600 more had I hung onto them. However some sold at even less going by the posts over on the LSE forum. Very difficult situation giving mine was on spread bet. Best option will be to short these since could be 0p when they delisted. | luckyabbeygale
27/3/2024 10:57 | i have had it cofirmed that you can retain in SIPP so I guess the SIPP holders have more flex here than the ISA holders | takeiteasy
27/3/2024 09:33 | So mkt value now is c.22m against net assets of 24.6m - not a great incentive for me to sell if the provider allows me to hold them privately - let's see what I am allowed to do Revenue was £24.6 million (January 2023: £1.7m) reflecting receipt of £15.9 million from sale of Orexin-1 receptor antagonist programme and $11 million milestone payment from AstraZeneca. · Total profit after tax of £17.8 million or 7.06 pence per share (January 2023: loss of £3.9m or 1.55 pence per share). · R&D expenses remained at £5.2 million (January 2023: £5.2m), reflecting focused investment in key drug discovery programmes focused on immune-inflammatory diseases. · Net assets of £24.6 million (January 2023: £13.6m). · Net cash as at 31 January 2024: £13.1 million (31 January 2023: £9.6m), before post-period receipt of $11 million milestone payment from AstraZeneca in February 2024. dyor and no advice intended of course | takeiteasy
27/3/2024 09:18 | Therefore spread bets and even normal shareholders are worth 0 once taken private and is the reason I am out at 9.2p. | luckyabbeygale
27/3/2024 09:15 | looks like the main share holders who are all best mates will have a very cheap company here and once taken private this company will fly | tony_penny
27/3/2024 08:48 | none of us have a clue what the other share holders are likely to do - impossible guess tbh any way you look at this | takeiteasy
27/3/2024 08:46 | Well in that case I have been tricked out of my holding at 9.2p. | luckyabbeygale
27/3/2024 08:43 | just trying to sense which way this was heading with a dummy buy...I just wonder if they do not get the votes they need this can be more interesting to hold on here...but wdik etc etc | takeiteasy
27/3/2024 08:38 | Are you trying to buy takeiteasy | linton5 |
