02/8/2020 19:51 | How do you know she hasn't been doing Supply Chain this year, sikhthetech? Someone has, at a fairly senior level presumably, to allow them to get supply up to support the £1m/month sales that they were able to do in March and April. I'm sure David Traynor has played a part, but he will also have been focusing on the licensing & technology deals, so who else might have been involved? Denise Keenan would seem like a possibility, if they wanted senior resource outside the existing supply chain function. | 1gw

02/8/2020 19:08 | Her Linkedin shows her as Commercial Officer & Secretary & Supply Chain Director... She's only been a Commercial Officer for just over a year.. If they had foresight then why didn't they appoint her in Feb-March when they saw the need for a Supply Chain Manager. As always, too little too late... Just another bear point to add to the growing list of bear points.. | sikhthetech
02/8/2020 18:28 | Looks like this could be part of some succession planning, among other things, to me. Head of Finance, then Head of Commercial and now Head of Supply Chain. And as Company Secretary may well have attended most board meetings over the last few years. | 1gw
02/8/2020 18:20 | A desperate recruitment more like.. 6 MONTHS after they started seeing sales increase, they have taken on a Supply Chain Director!!! Too little too late.. She has no Supply Chain experience... By the time she is up to speed, they'll be well into H2. Who's replacing her as the Chief Commercial Officer & Secretary or is it part time on each of her 3 roles? | sikhthetech
02/8/2020 16:27 | Supply Chain Director appointed from within, by the look of it, unless this is an interim position pending appointment of an external candidate. Denise Keenan looks to have a solid finance background. Feels like a bit of a leap from there to Supply Chain Director, but perhaps has been doing aspects of this in her previous role of Chief Commercial Officer - and at least must have proved her ability to perform outside of Finance. On the plus side - she will know the people, the company and its challenges very well and was available immediately - and that ability to get going immediately is perhaps more valuable in the current situation than it might normally be. The board must know what she is capable of and be confident that she can deliver. On the minus side - she won't bring an external perspective or much evident experience of supply chain expertise. Having said that, I suspect the procurement/supply chain function does not have a great reputation in a number of companies and byotrol wouldn't be the first to feel that moving across a valued member of the team from another discipline might be better (and lower risk) than employing a supply chain lifer from outside. From her linked-in profile it appears she was moved from Finance to Commercial when Nic Hellyer came on board as CFO, which perhaps suggests the board rated her highly enough to create a position to keep her onside at that time. | 1gw

28/7/2020 09:49 | fizzypop, "Evil K in a recent newsletter was forecasting 10p" No he wasn't. Obviously, after buying in EK would quote a higher price as he wants to make a quick profit. He also used the word "APPARENTLY"... "However, having this morning sold 70,000 Avacta (LON:AVCT) prematurely at 127p, I was hotted into another Covid stock, Byotrol (LON:BYOT) at 6p. Apparently the target price is much much higher – 10p first stop." Read EK's quotes from this article: "'I work on the assumption that I'm intellectually superior to 99 people out of 100 and I'd give the other man a good run for his money,' he says." "'I think very quickly and carefully. The fools panic and I don't panic.' 'I love a crisis because that's when people are stupid,' he said with a broad grin. The working class are incredibly stupid. You can sell them anything if you appear to sell it sincerely. 'I've always liked fast-moving markets because the fools make more mistakes so I'm able to profit by it.'" | sikhthetech
