Yes, there's always the Africa factor. I just happened to be flicking past Acacia mining at 16.20 when that surcharge RNS came out. That was a good trade, black swan job just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Next up Lemur? Regime change occured in Dec 2018. New President (who was once an old President). Some rearrangement of the state deckchairs inevitable. Madagascan politics are usually quite tribal and also (unfortunately) still quite corrupt. The state power company Jirama (as with most African state power companies) is a always a target because of its cash-flow. Hopefully this will not impact Lemur, but...

I see Afritin (ATM) maiden production has just slipped from Q1 to Q2 2019. I thought that was quite likely to happen (same DNA as Bushveld), but will credit the main excuse/benefit as being quite creative. Adds Tantalum to the pilot production...

All a bit flat today, Dax has been going sideways for a week. Can't quite decide if that's the end of the US reflex rally or not, possibly not seeing as the Fed has shamefully rolled over. Slightly off topic but always good to keep an eye on the bigger picture imo.

JC you just hit the nail on the head, live and let be.. let it ride.. If you do then there's never a risk of confrontation

How do you know who he is? Or perhaps I should ask why you are posting it. Just seems pointless.

Well, the world in my experience is made of many different sorts of people. Nothing you can do about that. The only thing that you can change is yourself so it is really up to you whether you want confrontation. Personally, I want to discuss the relative merits of a company rather than get into a slagging match. There are some who seem to want the latter.

I think you're over estimating how many people have mastered the skill of online communication.

Most people can't word emails properly or write letters. Those that are looking for tone instead of just letting it go over there heads and just take the facts out of it, need to take a good bloody look at themselves in my view.

I can see that is one way of interpreting it Plat Hunter but surely you modify your approach according to circumstances. Would you venture into a biker bar and express an aggressive opinion about their lifestyles having never been in their before and expect to get out unscathed? Like it or not, the LSE board is the way it is in the same way that the ADVFN board is what it is.

Yeah I don't agree with that JC.. you're kinda accepting that it's okay that LSE are the tone police.Say what you want but if the tone is misinterpreted then it's a ban.

I meant "the reaction tends to be related to how you express it".

I think that you will find that a couple of us have never followed the party line on LSE. The reaction tends to be how you express it. Westsands was pretty obvious from the first post and I suspect is just the latest incarnation. I have no idea why people can't have an honest debate with positives and negatives but it seems that it always degenerates with people's views becoming extreme on either side.

Vauch they were more than ok they were actually very good just didn't seem to be consistent with how the herd interpreted the Q4 update. Shame really as I think the majority would have benefited from this knowledgeable poster
