I put this up on the other Buffet thread,no responses so far, anyone have any thoughts on this topic?

Who thinks this 'crisis' is the best buying opportunity since 2003?
Quality companies everywhere selling (relatively) cheap.
Is the price of price of BRKA confirming this, or has it gone back up to is's year high area for other reasons? Perhaps because investors (not traders) 'percieve' that BRKA is going to 'clean up' on the financial 'mess' and make a tonne (more)of money from the distressed selling going on?
However,BEKA buyers must then also be making the assumtion that there will be recovery before anymore heavy falls. So who is being smart here, the market in general or BEKA buyers? (I'm assuming traders can't be moving the BEKA price, only investors.)
Or am I reading too much into the significance of BRKA trading this year between $5059 and $3701 (now 4595 deep in 'bull' market territory)
Any imput would be appreciated.

Ps
I'm surprised that this thread is so quiet at times like this. Quality companies selling dirt cheap, with the Buffet philosophy this crisis should (is?) seen as a time of great opportunity, or is this particular 'crisis' different' from the last ones?

Any Buffet 'fans' buying now?

I wonder what (if) Berkshire is buying presently, possibly some Bank stocks.
I'm being advised to buy Barclays, apparently the dividend is near 10% and they can still pay it.

I saw an article in the weekend press,it had WB sitting on a Harley Davidson, with his fist in the air. HD is in trouble atm with its domestic market,so I suppose they need the publicity.

In the article it quoted WB as saying the worst of the credit crisis was over but there was still pain to come. Anyone else see that article?
