Louise should go though , her control and judgement has been in question for over 3 years now.

One large seller early doors with 53k shares sold. The rest is small volume day traders taking advantage of the update to push the price down.Time for some good moves with the cash and agreed loan facilities to re-ignite the excitement behind the strategy for the company.A well planned pr effort as soon as the holiday season is over to get the good news message out with key investors and potential investors wouldn't come amiss.Oh! And an early message about success with Varithena at the large clinics through some positive messages from satisfied customers.Last but by no means least, a clear set of market actions as soon as Crofab's competitor hits the market, the battle for market share for the stock build up for the 2019 biting season.Gold old marketing as taught in all the busines schools!I'm close to wiping out any gains I have made since investing in Protherics and that isn't a good feeling!

I am guessing Pneumerx will be completely written off, this will likely have real significant costs. No profits this year!

Always the last to know after nothing ever happens spyder.

The needle returns to the start of the song and we continue as before.

How much will it cost to unwind this? Risk no.1 out of the way and potentially three to go.

From III

BTG plc (LSE: BTG), the global healthcare company, highlighted the publication of OPTALYSE PE trial results in JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions. The published findings further confirm that bilateral pulmonary embolism (PE) treated in as little as 2 hours with EKOSⓇ Acoustic Pulse Thrombolysis™ therapy shows significant improvement in RV/LV ratio and with a very low one-year mortality rate of 2% and an equally low one-year recurrent PE rate of 2%. This is with considerably less tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) than used in previous studies1, as low as 8mg total.

Looks like a result.

Good post spyder. On the Crofab point Louise talks about transparent market sensitive strategies, do any of you know if it possible to prolong the shelf life of the product ? Because I see as a major week point versus the expected competition.

A week that looked like it was going to promise so much ends so flat . Not even a rebuff on the rumour from the company . Strange .

It even hard to think who would be interested , though one small part of this business could be the jewal in the crown for someone else to grow .
I would not discount a bid at anytime .

With reporting now in usd, interest in the US May grow.As the next couple of years develop and the issues aroundV, Crofab and licensing come clear, then the I/M and I/O segments will have a logic to a 'sum of the parts' calculation for a hedge fund break up specialist.Hopefully we will be back in the £8-10 range by then.

FT Alphaville commenting yesterday on BTG bid rumours thought the company was a bit of a ragbag of interests and so no immediate predators sprang to mind.So no way out there for the long suffering faithful there perhaps :)!

To be fair lots of rumours that came to nought over the years . Phillips was another odd tie up mentioned to Btg. One Japanese company also .

I wonder if Louise realises how unsupportive of BTG the shareholders both small and large currently are .

Certaintly if someone went hostile she would find it hard to fend off. Not that she would be too worried with her free ride.

Good post again spyder but you may be wrong about timing, you see back in 2011 axis shield were taken out in a hostile bid from the US and there 1 first move was in the first week of August!!
