14/7/2016 13:24 | I'm astonished they were given clearance. In each case the individuals requested consent to deal which was granted by the Chairman in compliance with the Company's share dealing code. The sales took place on 7 July, 2016 on the main market of London Stock Exchange plc. The ISIN of the Ordinary Shares is GB0001001592 | steeplejack
14/7/2016 13:23 | That is a very good point regarding the share sales, it is astonishing that they were given clearance, given the mini-profit warning just a few days later. Some Qs to be answered here me thinks. Anyone went to the AGM? Was any of this stuffed raised? | spyder
14/7/2016 13:10 | -10% way overdone. | rrb
14/7/2016 12:56 | Should be support at 650p, if that gives, run for the hills ...! | spyder
14/7/2016 12:40 | Steeplejack - I was thinking more along the lines of a predator (friendly or otherwise) rather than investor ... | spyder
14/7/2016 11:34 | Spyder, the stock might be cheaper in dollar terms for US investors but in my experience,US institutions are reluctant to buy into a weak currency,in this case sterling. It's an offsetting factor. | steeplejack
14/7/2016 11:28 | Ps- needs to bounce from here (675p) if the recent chart trend is to hold. | spyder
14/7/2016 11:24 | Agreed, it was a pretty flat statement. It is a shame about the currency hedge, but I guess it could have gone the other way too. Eventually it will feed in to the bottom line assuming £1 to $1.32 is the new normal. In any event, BTG is 10% cheaper to buy if there is any interest from the US. We seem to have had a run of negative AGM statements that hit the price, on the day of the AGM and then beyond unfortunately, but then the damage is unwound with subsequent statements. Hey ho, business as usual then. Still difficult to see Varithena coming to the resume, I'm cautious, bordering on resigned hopelessness, but the board still seem to be enthusiastic. I remain to be convinced. | spyder
14/7/2016 09:54 | Well there's no hyperbole in that statement. Our hedging policies have likely negated a dollar exchange profit and Varientha goes on from day to day.An understandably anaemic response from the market. Very canny share sales by the management a week back or am I just too cynical.Hey ho,the "privileged few" :) | steeplejack
14/7/2016 07:45 | Pretty steady results , though currency hedging doing what it should do not showing the benefit of falling pound in results. looks like it needs to stay lower for longer to make a major impact on results. | bargainbob
14/7/2016 07:42 | That increased shelf life approval for Varithena might have come just in time. The statements on sales growth are sounding pretty doleful!Good overall statement. | fhmktg
13/7/2016 15:13 | I am unable to attend the AGM on Friday (Just had a knee replacement). As it is currently a newsworthy subject I wonder if anyone is going to the AGM could they enquire whether BTG is doing any background work on researching on a treatment for Sepsis using elements of their failed drug of several years ago. Thanks | txi
12/7/2016 18:39 | Rockets at the ready , expecting a great update. | bargainbob
12/7/2016 17:49 | AGM on Thursday, presumably there will be some sort of an update then. | spyder
12/7/2016 17:24 | Update this week?15th July last year. | fhmktg
12/7/2016 09:16 | Broker Upgrade -- Deutsche Bank Raises Target from 740p to 840p | bookish
11/7/2016 15:41 | Any valuation forecasts for the share price forBTG, Vectura and Vernalis if you have them. Many thanks! | fhmktg
07/7/2016 09:46 | The 14th will bring further news/insight | gregmorg
07/7/2016 08:53 | Yes Greg - just seen it on Yahoo. Does it imply that it will bring down the cost to the patient/ insurer as they won't be throwing so much of the stuff away? At least this some kind of progress on Varithena. | semper vigilans
06/7/2016 11:51 | interesting announcement re Varithena canister shelf life! Removes another impediment to faster take up- although my guess is few of us knew about it in the first place. | gregmorg
01/7/2016 10:49 | No dividend. There's technical resistance at 720.If we get through that, the next resistance is at 788. The stock is up some 16% over a month,a breather is to be expected. | steeplejack
01/7/2016 10:44 | What dividend? | gerd212 |
