Not quite as 'interesting' as the price was this time last year!

Edit - look over there -11%!

268k of NT trades going through this morning- NT are trades between parties which have to be at a price commensurate with the current trading at the time.
This could be the mechanism NOVO are using, but as to who is selling.... we will have to wait and see if Invesco is reducing .
Any other thoughts?

It is brilliant news that Novo are wading in.
They are a huge and well respected institution, they will have done extensive DD, including an audit of Varithena's prospects, and they must have concluded that BTG is a strong 'buy'. That is comforting.
Where are the shares coming from though ...

is that not a good signal for us to add given the way the price has been falling?

The notification by Novo that they have crossed the 10% mark, was after a transaction on 12th Feb. There has been good volume both today and yesterday and I'll bet they have been adding to the stake. I expect another announcement from them in the near future.

Large trades in the last five minutes before the bell....summat's on the move! How long before the market takes on board the changing picture and starts a significant rise in share price to force any buyer to pay a proper premium?

Oh that was a good guess . Lets see if they continue buying , that would be interesting .

Rough calculation suggests Novo have spent over £70 million since New Year

Well done Bob - spot on!

Who is getting out though?

Almost inevitable with such an attractive portfolio, IMHO; all a matter of timing and any indication that the code issue is resolved could start the bidding.

Iii a poster saying this maybe in play as a result of a few million trades each few days.
could be Novo just going to 10 per cent .

Thoughts ?

all these comments about woodford and other managers do not help if not linked to what the share price is doing- when is it likely judicious to add?

Greg if all the big holders got together they could sell this at anytime now without Management consent.
Same could be said for most companies though.

I just do not get the last comment as Woodford investments does have a declared holding but his previous employer also has a bigger, although reduced, holding.

I suspect this Novo holding is nothing more than a long term investment player in the sector seeing good value at a decent price

This continued buying by Novo-Nordisk is beginning to look as if they have a plan for cooperation or more serious- any thoughts?
Together with Mr W doesn't that take them to at least a blocking holding?

Which was signalled as the 'inflexion point' for code settlement.I hope so, this constant downward drift has cost me dear over the last year.
