28/7/2017 15:54 | Earlier drop overdone - lots down today, 2% no biggie and will be shrugged off next week. Results not great - but steady-away and share price will continue a steady upward trajectory. | eisler
28/7/2017 15:47 | happy for 3.10 finish given the way the FTSE has crumbled in the last 30 mins or so | chapchip
28/7/2017 15:46 | hmm think too optimistic!!! | hubshank

28/7/2017 12:33 | Action, if you look at the old options thread you will see that there are several of the 'old' traders still around. ;) | alphorn

28/7/2017 11:50 | I had been closing long positions from 308-316p. I had opened couple of short positions yesterday, now closed. These shorts were just a counter balance to remaining longs.I am back to mainly long positions-- average price is just below 300p. As mentioned earlier, I will start to close longs from 320-ish level.I don't make much money, as I always spend money covering both the long and short positions-- a lot of time this insurance is drag on my profits -- but I don't need worry about the risk of big losses. | younasm
28/7/2017 11:38 | hxxps://www.out-law. very little in the news about BT's results. I find that rather odd. | hubshank
28/7/2017 11:30 | Remain long and share price can stay exactly where it is to bring in a full gain. Hope your positions will do the same for Younasm? | alphorn
28/7/2017 11:29 | Finally, someone who read that snippet of information too. Somewhere in there it says will meet year targets. Also the consensus was EBITDA was 1762 the actual 1785. This is good!!! just not sure they have arrived at it in perhaps the way expected. Could anyone else offer a balanced sensible view. Not bothered about right or wrong, just interested in the numbers and the interpretation of such. Should add, would of course be absolutely over the moon if the brokers with a target of 450 -475 were right and we got there by next Friday - but guess I also would still like to believe in Santa! | hubshank
28/7/2017 11:24 | Well no one ran to the exit for the last 3 weeks when you said everyone would be running for the exit. In fact, loads ran for the entrance. I believe the boss implied the year is panning out well and will meet expectations. That's good enough for me. So do you have a phantom short atm monty? Good job you don't really trade on the stock market, you'd be bust if you had geared down bets on bt the last few weeks. | pierre oreilly
28/7/2017 11:17 | Lol, wish I had a crystal ball pace, but investors got excited piled into these for the figures, disappointing is a understatement. So of course rush for the exit. | montyhedge
28/7/2017 11:14 | Monty just has problems with english tenses that's all. When he says 'this will go down' what he actually thinks he is saying is 'this has just gone down'. He doesn't know the words for 'this has just gone up', so he says nothing at those times. | pierre oreilly
28/7/2017 10:45 | Well I'm annoyed with Monty! He obviously knew this was coming by his comments today but failed to warn us all yesterday....shame on you Monty you could have saved us all | pacemaker1000
28/7/2017 10:38 | Leave Monty alone --- he is an excellent share price indicator -- if you get my drift. We all make mistakes --- trick is to make less mistakes :-; | younasm
28/7/2017 10:37 | Where do I find this retrospective broker? I think I could do with him today! ;-) | hubshank |
