we always fear the results following a change of top management.
they think it is time to tell the truth about this company, and they are the superheroes who will fix it.

It happens nearly every time.
Look how Lewis at Tesco wrote down £7bn of useless assets.
It looks as though they had never made a real profit for years.

Holding and hoping, I still hope for 300p+ within 6 months, always assuming that there will not be a post Brexit crash, or that crazy Trump picks one fight too many.

He said BT is the best short on the FTSE and he will be buying at 192...at least that was one nonsense I read...he is not the top trader for nothing!...after all he sold BT short at 250 on Thursday last week, and bought back again at below 230 on Friday last week..., all retrospectivly mind you...

I would have thought today's budget could be good for BT if there is going to be further investment in connectivity and faster broadband services. Let's hope.

The defined benefit scheme had an agreed amount they would pay. The court ruling on equalizing men and women's pension throws that agreement under the bus.

It would be interesting then for a company to recalculate the pensions and write to them with new projections based on the new division of the pie.

The precedent has already been made. For some schemes, a lack of funds through poor management or fraud (or the financial services industry non fraud but excessive fees)
have resulted in a pension shortfall, then all the members of the scheme have had a reduced pension. Clerical Medical seems to come to mind.

E - an option but unlikely.

My bearish position seems to have been opened at the top - but still months to run so not counting any chickens.

equal rights - perhaps that means they should reduce men's pensions?

195p my forecast for BT, after Lloyd's lost pension rights case yesterday regarding equal pension rights for women, could cost other companies big time with large pensions.

The run up was nothing to do with market makers hocus pocus.
It shot down coz the boss said they not going to split Openreach off, plus general market down to boot.
A lot of investors inc the recent 3% buyer were counting on that.

BT had a good run up, the good, bad and ugly all get hit on days like this. Traders sell their winners to pay for their losers. Look at IAG great results up 2.5% earlier now down. Thats the way it goes, can't fight the market direction.
