I think ADVFN is just having a glitch, I think it's showing Thursdays close rather than Fridays?

I am going to put my views on record here.
Any deal coming back from the EU to present to the UK parliament will get rejected.
If I am wrong, I will happily disappear into the ether.
Let's see come end of November.

A nice looking chart today, it certainly makes a pleasant change.

If we can top 232, with a close above 231, we could be quickly up to 240.

See Italy's 5G auctions went at a record price. Great for government but bad for carriers who bid the high prices and won. Multiply this by the 40-80 territories that Vodafone operate in and that's not good!

These are just the licence costs, the build out and backhaul costs are gonna be sky high on top per country.

It makes me laugh that if you look back through the posts here, Monty said Vodafone is a far better investment than BT. QED.

The industry’s final bill is more than twice what the government had expected and will leave investors wondering how the companies will turn a profit on 5G once the networks are installed. Telecom Italia SpA and Vodafone Group Plc each committed to pay about 2.4 billion euros ($2.8 billion) for the largest blocks.

Monty. Whereas IAG just jump out of the plane?
There is so much over capacity in the Europe airline market, the strugglers fighting for business will drop their price and therefore so will all others, combined with rising fuel, not good for 18 months I think.

And if you think everything is rosy when oil goes below 80 bucks for a bit, airlines hedge, currently they living off earlier cheaper hedge prices, next year will be based on current high hedge prices.

Many thanks for your humble opinion in recapping your horrendous experience, daijavu, it’s always nice to see a new poster on the BT board and I’m sure many people will be interested in reading what you have said.

You state that you don’t actually hold any shares in the company, so can I be bold and ask if you hold a short position in them?
