"Attention now turns to the forthcoming publication of the DCMS Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review (FTIR) and next steps on implementation of the broadband USO from Ofcom. We’ll be keep an eye on what the FTIR has to say on tackling broadband barriers and regulatory incentives. Given past form, we wouldn’t be surprised to see updates published just before the summer break."

(Note the gov break up for summer recess on Tuesday 24th July - so just 2 weeks away max! - IMO its unlikely to be as late as Monday or Tuesday 23rd/24th as MPs too busy then playing Kerplunk and breakdancing at the end of term disco)

Three attempts to significantly break 232p, and it’s been sold down every time.

I’m sure there will be another try very soon, and hopefully some good progress once that resistance level finally gives way.

It was oversold?
Sentiment has changed?
Stock rotation?
BT getting on top of costs?
Announced plan for tackling pension deficit?
New CEO coming?
Chancellor speech about incentivising installers to put fibre in the ground?
EE announce they gonna probably be first to market in the UK with 5G?
DCMS Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review being delivered over next week or two?
Upcoming ex-divi date of 9th Aug for 10.54p divi?
Take your pick.

As Dirty Harry would say..."I know what you are thinking, would I rather hold aggressive stocks at multi-year highs or should I hold defensive stocks at multi-year lows, you've gotta ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?"

Iceman. I also bought some CNA last autumn but sold out and didn't wait long enough.
But on the upside as long as you identify the shares with potential then that's half the battle, patience has always been my downfall to getting larger profits from a single share. Maybe my new name should be PatiencePatiencePatience1 :)
