25/9/2017 15:02 | I read somewhere that he was the world's no.1 trader. he must impress someone. | careful
25/9/2017 14:59 | Those bears aren't catching much salmon today. Mont, in all the several years i've had to endure your posts I don't think i've ever heard anyone say anything complementary about you, your style of posting, your trades or your trading ability. I've heard probably hundreds posting that you post random nonsense. Does that tell you anything? | pierre oreilly
25/9/2017 14:50 | andy Bulls and bears make a market, ok your long and wrong, I understand. | montyhedge
25/9/2017 14:21 | I do understand trading, I just don't understand why you frequently visit a BB just to spread negativity. I cannot understand the purpose behind it. | andy84uk
25/9/2017 13:22 | andy Trading, you would not understand. | montyhedge
25/9/2017 12:13 | 9 times out of 10 you turn up spouting contradictory nonsense for an agenda no one understands but yourself. | andy84uk
25/9/2017 09:45 | 9 times out of 10, BT up on a Mondays morning, the punters come in, buy for the week. Then the bears just waiting to sell into the rallies. You seen bears catch salmon in Alaska in the rivers, easy, this is really the same thing, lol. Bears never go hungry. | montyhedge
25/9/2017 09:14 | BT is a company that could do with restructuring to get efficient again. Customer service is the worst I've ever come across. | smurfy2001
25/9/2017 09:01 | Yippee prices now. | montyhedge
25/9/2017 09:00 | Managed to snacth another small scalp this AM, out at just under 2.84. Not a day for golf minty Monty by the looks of it. Gavin P also lives in Weybridge. | essentialinvestor
25/9/2017 08:42 | All the best Monty, enjoy your retirement. Just to let you know you can find live prices elsewhere, would you like me to provide you with details? | toon1966
25/9/2017 08:39 | Still no prices on Advfn absolutely useless service. | montyhedge
25/9/2017 08:37 | Sad to hear you go Monty. Take care and all the best. | smurfy2001
25/9/2017 08:24 | No prices on Advfn technica problem, keeps happening. I may leave if this continues, that will make a few of you happy, lol | montyhedge
25/9/2017 08:01 | Careful = I mentioned this in a post on the 20 Sept. BTPS want to change the way Section C pension are increased, instead of using RPI they want to use the CPI measure (which is used by Section A and B pensions). | toon1966
24/9/2017 20:31 | This is how the No.1 trader see it for tomorrow. Amateur hour between 8am and 9am as they buy positions for the week ahead, FTSE 100 may be up a couple of points to begin the day. German election result, Merkel in but not good result, so Dax down. | montyhedge
24/9/2017 18:43 | Sunday Times heads with BT's pension deficit strategy. £7bn could become £14bn on current arrangements. They are going to court to change the index which decides how uplifts are paid. Could save billions if successful. | careful
23/9/2017 23:02 | There is only one no;1....monty no;1... | diku
23/9/2017 09:06 | Couldn't agree more EssentialInvestor. Very nervous about October results, live in hope we'll be pleasantly surprised..... | toon1966
22/9/2017 18:16 | If BT disappointed again, you could easily see 2.50 imv. Without this happening, sentiment is somewhere near as poor as I can remember it, at least outside a severe bear market/ market crash. There is the classic Victor Meldrew line.. just when you think things will never get any better, they suddenly get worse ). | essentialinvestor
22/9/2017 16:43 | Toon, it's true but that doesn't mean l don't have stocks with running losses, which l carry over to the next financial year. I'll even take a hit on profits by taking some losses but overall I've made a profit every year since l started in 2008. I even post trades nowadays see my BP, BT and RBS trading for example via my post history. I do need to update my percentages though, which i'll update today. | smurfy2001
22/9/2017 16:33 | Smurfy - read your 'about' on your profile. Never made a YOY loss eh? Think it's about time you replaced Montyhedge as the No.1 Trader.... | toon1966
22/9/2017 16:14 | DMF said 22 Sep '17 - 13:09 - 25242 of 25245 - "We need a dramatic drop .........250 would be good...might be considered fair value at that level" What makes you say that given we had a 'dramatic drop' at the beginning of the year? Do you believe there is still a number of skeletons in the cupboard? Bye the way what does DMF stand for? | toon1966
22/9/2017 13:34 | Essentialinvestor, it may be cheaper long term to stay in a Sky, rather than suggest your good lady made an error! | griffinred |
