29/9/2017 11:13 | You need to see how the share price behaves on a couple of bad days for the UKX before making any call it's forming a longer/interim term base imv. For very short term trading, buying around 2.81 has worked a few times. No guarantee it will continue to do so. | essentialinvestor

28/9/2017 12:37 | Would agree with that. One more fuk up and it's the door marked Exit. Tempted to buy a small amount again, no position atm. Would not have the conviction to hold BT.A in quantity atm. | essentialinvestor
28/9/2017 12:01 | careful I like Gavin seems a good CEO, but if one more bit of bad news on he's watch and surely he will have to go, fund managers would see to that. At the moment they have given him and other directors the benefit of the doubt, to see if they can turn this around. | montyhedge

28/9/2017 11:22 | just topped up. guessing this is overdone already. management will be motivated to apply financial discipline and cut out waste. Their own survival and reputations depend upon it. The CEO has endured a spectacular destruction of shareholder value. | careful

28/9/2017 10:41 | Trying to time an optimal buy (or sell) price is exceptionally difficult. If looking to buy there is always a temptation to lower an intended buy price as a share price nears this level. There may be a good reason for doing this, if a company warns and prospects have fundamentally altered, as an example. Slowing buying in small stages is sometimes the better approach. | essentialinvestor
28/9/2017 10:39 | we need results Nov 2 to get some real information. share price collapse is illogical but with no information the trend will be down. High frequency/algo trading have a one way ticket. But such situations create long term opportunities for the canny investor. There are dozens of examples over the last few years. It takes nerve and occasionally you will have a disaster. BT must be a great opportunity at around these levels. A 43% crash over 2 years is dramatic. Are things that bad for the UK's largest broadband and mobile network provider? | careful
28/9/2017 10:31 | Andy If the dividend is reduced or suspended 200 dead cert | dmf
28/9/2017 10:13 | Must be a massive stale bull position built up in BT, can't see it going higher until unwind, every Monday they buy with the spreadbetters, then get caught out. For bears like shooting fish in a barrel. | montyhedge
28/9/2017 09:27 | And I bet if it does go to £2.50 you'll be looking to wait until £2.00 | andy84uk
